Grocery Outlet — Local services in Yreka

I love grocery outlet bargain market because they save me money. From the produce a dollar 99 for a bag of lettuce compared to raley's and Walmart's prices of over $3 a bag then you move on to the meat and then the bacon boy or boy do you save money there. We were at raley's yesterday and they wanted $10.49 for a pound of bacon blew my mind at grocery outlet I always pay less than $3.99 for a pound of bacon.The lunch meat is always a great variety and the prices are so much lower than the other two stores and then there's eggs and I wish more milk choices but you know then there's all the canned food stuff and packaged foods and then the best thing of all you never know what you going to find. I feel like I have scored like like I'm playing a game when I make really good purchases. I was there the other day and a couple before me the wife let out a little scream because she was buying I believe a four pack of a protein drink for $0.77 and she said that Walmart charge anywhere from $8 to $10 for the same thing, it's like Christmas Day. Grocery outlet is the best thing that's happened to Yreka really I think since I moved here 30 years ago anyone who remembers the high prices that Rays would charge and unless you wanted to go over the mountain you were stuck paying...

Beware when buying fruits and vegetables at grocery outlet. I bought a bag of potatoes along with some other items yesterday and when I had gotten home I discovered that the potatoes were rotten! I proceeded to take them back to grocery outlet and they return them and I purchased another distributor's potatoes. To my dismay, that bag also had rotten potatoes! When I was talking to the lady in the checkout behind me she said " that's what they're selling nowadays ". Just because a grocer sells discounted items, they should not be rotten or spoiled! I tried to return the second bag today, but the manager would not allow me to return them without a receipt (My wife threw away the receipt). I then informed the manager that our family will never be shopping at grocery outlet again, I have two grown daughters and sons with children and plenty of friends here in Yreka who I'm definitely spreading the word to. I guess I'll be getting all of my fruits and vegetables at either...

I went shopping tonight and witnessed some of the most horrible customer service I have ever seen. The employees tonight a older woman and younger guy were loudly through out the store talking about the people in this town and how they wish they would all over dose and die because a girl came in a they said she was stealing. People especially ones who are supposed to be professional should keep this kind of behavior and language privately and not for the whole store to have to listen to. Not to mention the young man threw my change in my hand after I asked to speak to an store manager. So if you like to hear gossip and people talk about how they wish people in this county would overdose and die this is the place to go. Very ugly and unprofessional environment. Should be ashamed...
