West Coast Sourdough - Yuba City — Restaurant in Yuba City

I ate here once a few months ago and it was great! I hadn’t had it in a while so I thought I would try it again and I feel like I might get food poisoning after eating my sandwich. I got the tuna salad and it was so extremely fishy plus it had a weird aftertaste in addition to the fishy taste and smell. I couldn’t finish the sandwich and had to throw it out. I was so disappointed and to have spent almost $40 for something I couldn’t even eat! I’m not sure what’s changed but they need to fix it. Plus, I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and they gave me some kind of a weird smelling puff pastry which I also didn’t eat and it wasn’t even on the menu! So I ended up having to call the store to find out what happened and the girl who answered had a really thick accent. She was pretending she couldn’t hear me on the phone, she kept saying “Hello? Hello? Hello?” over and over again which on my end, I could hear her just fine. After she finally stopped saying hello, I asked her why I didn’t get what I ordered. She couldn’t answer my question; almost like she couldn’t understand what I was asking her. Unfortunately, because of these things, I will not...

The owners here are so great. Their clam chowder isn't the greatest... very very much tastes like flour, but it's pretty good. They only offer bread pieces and not crackers but the customer service is so amazing. I will probably go to casa lupe for good clam chowder which is crazy, because it's a Mexican restaurant.But after seeing the employees in west coast sourdough walking through the back with plastic bags of soup... and frozen steel dishes of soup...I don't feel as if it it's that great. Might as well go to Togos or Subway. I really do love how they will do everything for you... except get their own quality ingredients. Owners, please visit Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco or Cannery Row in Monterey, or even closer Casa Lupe in Yuba City, and then you know how to make customers love your chowder and what fresh is. I love the restaurant and staff... underwhelmed...

I'm not sure what's going on with this place, it's normally pretty good. But today was the complete opposite. We ordered two sandwiches and when we got them, the breads were like rocks. They were missing most of our toppings for it. When we called to let them know some of our order was missing, the girl who answered told us there's nothing she can do unless we wanted to come and pick it up again or get a refund from Door dash. We didn't order from DD. Then she hung up on us. Husband called back and she told him a different story and hung up, we called back a third time trying to see what we could do or to talk to someone higher up, she put him on hold for a few minutes and hung up. We normally come here all the time and never had an issue until today. They told us to check the receipt, but they never gave us one so we pulled up our online receipt and tried explaining...
