Coin Mart — Local services in Zanesville

I experienced my first and last business with this establishment today. I brought in some odds and ends from my personal coin and bullion collection that don’t fit my current interests, as well as some jewelry that was my late grandmothers that I have no desire to keep around any longer.

I hadn’t even placed the jewelry on the counter and was told that the only jewelry they buy is gold, which I understand and am fine with. The stuff I brought was mostly costume but even most of that wasn’t the gaudy typical stuff. I tested at home with a magnet since I don’t have a sigma or acid to test, and I couldn’t find my coin loupe to look for purity stamps. I let the young gentleman behind the counter know that they all passed a magnet and that was the only reason he started to look.

Of the three small bags he found 1 piece that was gold and didn’t even check the third because it looked like silver, and they don’t buy silver jewelry which, I also understand. He told me I could try pughs for a second opinion. I did just that and they found another 3 pieces of gold in the bag that wasn’t checked(white gold that I wasn’t sure if it was silver or not)

Then the coins that I brought in were looked at, I was agreeable with all but one of the prices on one piece, prices that I had to pry out of the older gentleman in the back. Both parties acted like I was interrupting their entire day. The piece I ended up keeping is worth more than the price of a generic bullion round price I was offered, and had one of the two took the time to do a little research or act even moderately interested in anything I was offering they would’ve learned that, just like the gold that was found in the un-searched bag I took to Pughs.

Moral of my review and experience. if you don’t know what you have and it is a precious metal take it to Pughs, if it is coins, or bullion take it to buckeye gold coin in Lancaster, they will treat you with respect and do some leg...

Coinmart is an AMAZING store and I absolutely love shopping here! They always have GREAT deals and the leadership/ownership and employees are super awesome and insanely nice, understanding, and caring for their customers! I really enjoy the coinmart employees company. They really make you feel like your at home when shopping at their store.

Coinmart has an incredible video game and movie selection to shop for and they also have some wonderful collectibles, jewelry, and rare coins for sale. They also always have awesome specials such as buy 3 get 1 free or buy 2 get 1 half off on ALL video games and movies. They also run 2 for 5 sales on selected movies. The specials are awesome.

If you are looking for a video game console, video games, movies, game accessories, jewelry, rare coins, or collectibles, I highly recommend coinmart. Coinmart also has a lay a way program to make purchases easier for their customers.

I been a long term coinmart customer since I was a little kid and I have NEVER had a poor experience at this store. I can't think of 1 single thing to complain about this store. This store once again gets a 5 piece rating! Keep it up coinmart...

I have been buying my Xbox hardware and Nintendo Playstation etc. Here for about 18 years and they are hands down the best store for electronics on planet earth. Best prices and best quality of items unlike similar buy sell trade stores where you often receive poor quality items for an increased price.....I def recommend to everybody everywhere! I buy all my controllers headphones and hookups from there and I'm always 100% satisfied with what I take home...... awesome deals on accessories too..... like cases for handhelds phones etc........and if he doesn't have it he can probly get it for you way cheaper than anybody else!
