Look, nobody has high expectations for Little Caesars. Nobody's expecting gourmet dining. And I think it's realistic to say it's not unexpected that the service is just a step above waffle House. So I'm not upset if I go in there and the manager is cussing at a customer and everyone's on some substance or another. What I do want is for my pizza to be, as advertised, hot and ready. I'm not asking for it to taste good, I'm not asking for it to be high quality. Just asking for what's on the box. Hot and ready. Especially the ready part. That's key. If I want to have a wait time on par with the latest Michelin starred restaurant, Little Caesars is not going to be on the itinerary. The bar is so low, and yet, the Maple Avenue Little Caesars finds a shovel and digs under it. And maybe it's our fault, we all keep going back. We keep hoping this will be the time that the pizza is actually ready. But no, it is nothing but consistent hour long wait times. Now, if you hit it on a winning day, it actually tastes pretty decent and it might be out of the kitchen in half an hour. But you can't depend on it. So I'm here to remind you, if you're telling yourself that maybe just maybe you will get your pizza on time, and you're tired, and you don't want to have to bother with dinner, don't do this to yourself. Just don't do it. Go to literally any drive-thru in town, but don't do this...
Read moreOrdered 2 pizzas and crazy bread through the app to the Zanesville Maple Ave Little Caesars. Paid through app and said 15-20 min. At 25 min still no notification of pizza being ready. Went into store and 2 pizzas noted to be on counter. A clerk assisted me after waiting 5 min, looked at 2 pizza boxes on counter and walked towards back. Clerk returns with 2 said boxes that had been on the counter and crazy bread. I ask how long those 2 pizzas have been on counter and clerk states “about 5 minutes.” I state, I hope so but I have been standing in your store for 8 min so those pizzas have been sitting there much longer than 5 min. Clerk then states “have a nice day.” I exit and once to car, both pizzas were cold, the crazy bread as well as the butter wasn’t even melted. I wouldn’t even make a big deal about it if it were in the portal and not sitting on cold metal counters or the fact when I arrived there were no customers waiting. Unhappy with the customer service and the quality of my food. I finally got a notification of pizzas ready for pick up an hour later....
Read moreThis place is absolutely positively, god-awful slow. It doesn’t matter if you are ordering for yourself or if you were picking up for a delivery service. I received a DoorDash order At the slow part of the afternoon, 2 PM, and after waiting 20 minutes at another restaurant, arrived here to pick up the order and they had just put it in the oven.
That means they sit on the order for 20 minutes before they even put it in the oven. They absolutely screw over everyone on their time schedules and it’s really not worth the wait. Either they are understaffed because they are greedy, or the place is just mismanaged and the owner doesn’t even know it because he’s not keeping a closer enough eye on the manager he has appointed.
It would literally be faster to drive to Newark and get your little Caesars then drive back to Zanesville then it would be to go here. Order elsewhere.
Oh, and as for hot and ready. A few things here are hot— none are ready. And don’t even think about picking up little Caesars for dinner. Not unless you ordered it for lunch and come by at 5...
