All Day Coffee — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Wow, what a terrible experience at all day coffee. I don't understand how you can find places like this where the impression online is so far off from reality.

What shocked me the most about my experience this morning was just how truly disgusting the food was. It was confirmed by the staff that the croissants are purchased frozen and then microwaved, obvious to the eater when presented with this dry, hard, inedible block of bread. I didn't even need the staff to confirm it for me to know immediately. How can you have the audacity to charge 45k for a frozen microwaved croissant?

The croissant sandwich was a competition of inedible textures and flavors. In my opinion, remove it from the menu. Wet, mushy bacon, glue like cheese, and sand bread. It was the cheapest quality ingredients with terrible cooking process (microwave). The avocado toast was bland and tasteless. Salt, pepper, paprika, do anything to make it taste like something.

The front of house staff had good attitudes and did their best, but how can that make up for the 420k pricetag for such horrible food? Tax is also not included in the price. I left with a lighter wallet and an empty stomach because we didn't even want to finish our food. I suggest some serious improvements be made to the ingredients and cooking process. Ownership should step up and buy better quality ingredients, or ensure the kitchen has the proper equipment to cook well. What a ripoff. Never...

I was very excited to try this place out since I have lived abroad for a long time. Staffs are not trained well and ignorant. When I entered, they said the whole restaurant was full and I would have to wait 15-20 mins. I saw two spaces left at the communal table and ask them to sit there. They told me ok then came to ask us to move to second floor because they have a seperate table for us. I sat down & asked the waiter if they have any breakfast food without milk & dairy in general. He said look inside & find. He doesn’t know. I asked the waiter if he doesn’t know the menu yet because he just started working there. Or the restaurant is too new. He said it’s not his job to know. Only the kitchen staffs & chefs would know. Didn’t offer to ask the kitchen for me. He said waitstaff doesn’t need to know this & it’s not his job. We were chatting w normal voice when they came to ask us to move AGAIN upstairs because they have a filming session on 2nd floor. They said staffs downstairs forgot to told us not to sit on 2nd floor. Why did they take our orders on 2nd floor & not tell us to move before we order? Or why did they tell us to sit on 3rd floor instead at the first place? We would have preferred to sit here anyway. When we sat down they gave us menus to order again. If Google allows user to give flexible star, I would rate All day coffee for 6!! My very first drink of coffee here made me WOW! It was Affogato if I remember correctly. It was so soft, like a flower slowly bloomed in your mouth. I can feel it melted with sweetness, some bitterness and the undeniable coconut flavor. How great the café is! They offer a wide selection of coffee mixed and made in various ways. Even the menu shows me the dedication of the team owner. So lovely place! Great staff: friendly, listenable (I mean they appreciate the recommendation from customers) but very professional. I ask myself why this coffee shop is so famous and now I find my answer. I came here because I have followed the founder on social network for a long time and have built a strong admiration to him. But I definitely visit it again and again because it is All Day Coffee.
