5point review Activity Duration: 2 to 4 hours Ratings: 6/10 UAE is a desert country, but you have to drive away from the cities to actually see the desert. Amidst the never-ending puzzle of zigzagging roads and towering skyscrapers, you can find some beautiful (and mostly huge) public parks, constructed by Dubai Parks Authorities. A big thumbs up to the Government for first conceptualizing and developing these parks and then maintaining them in these harsh climates in an immaculate manner. Now here are my 5-Pointers on some of the best Dubai parks. Dubai might not have a Central Park like New York, but there are many alternatives in different areas for some fun-filled picnics. (These parks might not be big enough attractions for tourists, but they are sure shot life savers for the residents) Okay technically this place is not in Dubai but close to it 1. The Good: Decent park, good for family picnics. Many Activities are available on-site like Speed boating, kayaking, and family boat rides (all decently priced). A lot of kids' activities are available nearby (trampoline, cars, splash park, etc.) Then there are some decent options from cafeterias to grills to Indian. You get all. 2. The Not-So-Good: On weekends it does get crowded (kayaking queues are too long) but not much waiting for other activities. So not that big an issue. Not many washrooms around. 3. The WoW Factor: Waterfront. Water activities, some kids' fun, and decent dining options all in one place. 4. Money Matters: Activities are decently priced although some of the kids' rides looked expensive. 5. The 5-Point Experience: A decent place for a weekend out (on a budget) with enough things to do. Ride a boat, get your kids to jump on trampolines, and then have a nice little dinner. A Weekend night well spent Verdict: Try this out on a weekend

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Blend of Relaxation and Fun! Al Majaz Waterfront is an absolute gem in the heart of Sharjah. We visited on a weekend evening and were blown away by the entire experience. The atmosphere is simply stunning. The beautifully manicured parks and gardens are a joy to walk through, with the iconic Khalid Lagoon and its stunning fountain show as the centerpiece. The view of the Sharjah Mosque illuminated against the night sky is breathtaking. There is so much to do for everyone. The children were thrilled with the mini-golf course and the splash park, while we enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the promenade. The variety of dining options is fantastic, with cafes and restaurants offering everything from quick bites to full meals, all with gorgeous waterfront views. We capped our night with a charming boat ride around the lagoon, which was the perfect way to see the area from a different perspective. Everything was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. It’s clear that a lot of thought has been put into creating a safe, family-friendly, and enjoyable environment. Whether you're looking for a active day out with the kids, a romantic evening stroll, or a peaceful spot to relax with friends, Al Majaz Waterfront delivers on all fronts. A water front park, The Al Majaz Park can be visited throughout the year and well into the night. There are many food stores catering for both the high end customers who want air-conditioned dining or fenced open areas to small tea and donuts shops. There is a big mosque, Dancing fountains, Mini golf course (under repair) and a children's water park as well. There are also bikes and boats that can be rented. Some areas are dedicated to current events so these places can change depending on occasions. Access to these areas can vary too. Sometimes it can be for the general public and sometimes for family only, women and children only etc. The view is great, and it can be a nice place to jog if you do not require a tartan floor. All in all, it is a park worth visiting even everyday as generally most of it is a free access space so no cent is spent for being there. If you just need a change of scenery to refresh the mind or for just to hang out, Majaz Park is a good place to visit. If you one is willing to walk, you'll find that it seamlessly connects to other areas with other great attractions.

Al Rolla Square is one of the busiest areas in Sharjah, surrounded by a number of banks, offices and a major bus station. However, in the centre of the square, is a beautiful park, which is worth a visit if only just to relax. The Rolla Square park is well-laid out, with plenty of greenery, water courses, a couple of fountains on either end and a bigger monument in the centre. Its symmetrical layout resembles the famed Mughal Gardens one can see in Delhi, Lahore or Srinagar. The park has a number of swings, slides and play spaces for children as well as trees providing plenty of shade. The park with its beautiful 'Tree Monument' and its water courses, offers plenty of avenues for photography as well. One can spend a nice 45 minutes to an hour here just relaxing. Entrance to this park is fee AED. 2.

Nice place to hangout, especially when you're with children. Everything is well put together. I saw some senior citizens were sitting there enjoying there food,(food is not available in the garden but you can bring it from outside). Cycles, scooters are not allowed. I saw security guard was stopping a little girl (may be 5-6 year old) from taking her small scooter inside. I'm not about the rules. Confirm with the management. If you want 'time with self' then this is the place. Currently the entry fees is 2 AED. If you're going to Sharjah a must visit place for awesome photography.
