Read moreI am absolutely shocked by the quality of the food and services.
I had such a great experience in Sharjah with Zarzoor Iraqi Restaurant, and they referred me to Al Halabya in Barsha. When I called them, they assured me they were the same restaurant with the same quality. However, the quality of the Iraqi Kebab from Zarzoor (Sharjah) is millions of miles better than Mashawi Al Halabiah in Al Barsha.
Here cost me a lot more for much much much lower the quality of food and services. Firstly it took more than an hour to deliver, and when it arrived food was cold. The kebabs were not even edible; I put most of them in the bin. They were dry, overcooked, bad-tasting, full of small hard bits in the meat, seems they minced bones and cartilages. The bread was not freshly baked but shop-bought in a pack, and the hummus and Motabal had a sour, old and off taste.
Unfortunately, I ordered 1KG of Iraqi kebabs because I thought it would be the same high quality, good taste, and good service as Zarzoor, but it was awful. With 1KG of kebabs, They sent me only two half pieces of tomato, which were dry and not ripe, and two half onion kebabs, no soup, no chili pepper. They cut large green peppers and barbecued them with all the seeds. They sent French fries that were inedible, with a heavy smell of burnt oil, it was only suitable for causing cancer...The meat was also smelly, and only God knows which part of the lamb these kebabs were made from. It was awful, awful. awful. I had many bad food in Dubai but this one was worse than anything I have ever had...
VERY DISAPPOINTED...I wasted my time and money. The day after, I had diarrhea even though I ate only one piece of the kebab. I am really shocked by reading good reviews. Go and try Zarzoor in Sharjah, and you will see...
Read moreDear Management,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the treatment I received during my most recent visit to your restaurant, where I have been a loyal customer for over five years.
On this occasion, I was subjected to behavior that can only be described as disrespectful and completely unprofessional. The restaurant manager spoke to me in an aggressive and inappropriate manner over a single piece of dessert — a dessert that was supposedly included in the AED 18 plate (which, as explained by your staff, consists of five pieces). Initially, I had requested only three pieces, but was told by the staff that the dish must include five. I agreed without hesitation and selected the five pieces.
What is especially disturbing is that many customers regularly taste two or three pieces without being charged, and this has never been an issue. Yet, in my case, I was met with rudeness, provocation, and an unacceptable tone — all over one piece of dessert, and despite being a regular customer.
The manager even said, “I’ll pay for the piece myself,” which I found extremely unprofessional and offensive. This kind of remark reflects a lack of basic customer service etiquette and is deeply disrespectful.
Despite the humiliation I experienced, I insisted on paying the full bill — but I want to make it clear that this will be the last time I, my family, or my friends visit your establishment.
I kindly request that you escalate this complaint to the restaurant owner, as no one was willing to provide me with the contact details of the person in charge.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt and...
