Bosporus Turkish Cuisine - The Beach (JBR) — Restaurant in Dubai

Whenever I crave Turkish breakfast, Bosporus is my go-to spot. Over the years I've been to most of their Dubai branches. Some don't even exist anymore like the Wafi Mall. Visited the JBR branch yesterday, Monday morning at 11 AM. JBR was surprisingly quiet but Bosporus was packed. That tells you something about how much people love this place. This newer JBR location is way better than their old one. Right in the heart of the action with amazing welcome service at the door. They seated us upstairs with a perfect window view. Both outdoor terraces look great for cooler weather but it was too hot so we stayed inside. Usually, I order Al Sultan Breakfast when we are 3 or more, this time we were only two so I was torn between Bosporus Breakfast 159 AED and Ottoman Breakfast 135 AED. My friend is pescatarian and I'm on a diet so our server patiently explained every detail. He didn't try pushing the expensive option which I really appreciated. Went with Ottoman Breakfast since it has fewer sweet temptations. He said 12 minutes prep time and offered us complimentary tea and orange juice right away. Turkish tea comes with free refills which is a nice touch. Breakfast arrived in about 10 minutes. Every time that breakfast tray arrives I stand in awe and take pictures. It's just that impressive. I picked Menemen eggs instead of Sujuk because of my pescatarian friend. The eggs were perfect. We got Herby Cheese, Smoked Cheese, Cecil Cheese, Izmir Tulum Cheese, Grilled Halloumi, Sigara Boregi cheese rolls, Sujuk, butter with sesame, Tahina sauce with Pekmez, strawberry and apricot jams, honey with cream, Nutella, olives, and mixed vegetables. Before our waiter got the chance to explain what every dish was, my friend thought the sesame butter was cheese and ate it straight. We all cracked up from the expressions on her face when she realized what she did 😂 We ended up staying from 11 AM to 4 PM. Service was incredible throughout. They kept refilling our tea and checking on us without being pushy. As we left they reminded me to validate parking for the free hours. Small details like that matter. Amazing breakfast as always. Hello Bosporus Restaurant Management,

I am writing to formally address concerns regarding the service I experienced during my recent visit 12th of July, to your location. While the food quality at Bosporus Restaurant remains exceptional and unparalleled, the service provided fell significantly below acceptable standards, which impacted my overall dining experience.

During my visit, I requested a table arrangement for a party of five. Instead of providing an appropriately sized table, the staff placed five chairs around two smaller tables instead of 3 pushed together, which was inadequate and uncomfortable for our group.

A party of five should be accommodated with three tables combined or a single larger table to ensure proper seating and dining comfort.

Additionally, our table was served food without any utensils provided, despite the presence of five adults and one infant.

This oversight is unacceptable, as it is reasonable to expect that a restaurant of your caliber would ensure basic dining necessities are in place for all guests without requests but restaurant’s basics.

I kindly urge the management to address these service shortcomings promptly. Improved staff training and attention to detail in table arrangements and service protocols would greatly enhance the dining experience to match the high standard of your food quality.
