This is the second time I have been to this restaurant, although the last was about 6 years ago. I was born in Peru and lived there for a couple of years in my 20s so get incredibly excited about chicha morada (a drink made from purple maiz, lemon, cinnamon and sugar - soooo refreshing), and inca kola (a fluorescent yellow soft drink that is inexplicably delicious). I am also coeliac (so gluten free) and dairy-free so super awkward. There's a special allergens barcode in the back of the menu so I could work out exactly what I could and couldn't have! Luckily I was able to have the yuccas fritas with guacamole and fried fish with salad. They were both absolutely delicious - you get loads of yuccas fritas so my boyfriend kindly helped me eat them. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food came quickly and was beautifully presented. We also got little pots of olive oil and vinegar to put on it and they were good quality and just the right size for my salad (which was bigger and yummier than I was expecting - see photo). The fish was delicious - cooked just right with a crispy exterior and flaky inside. Really meaty. My boyfriend wasn't super keen on his tamal as he found the corn a bit much (in terms of ratio to meat) but the pork was nice and tender. He had sudado de pescado and enjoyed that too. We were too full for dessert but will likely be back again this week to try some more Peruvian delicacies. One thing to be aware of is that there are two parts to the restaurant and one part was closed tonight so we almost went somewhere else. So if it looks closed when you get there just walk down a couple of doors to see if the other bit is open! Highly recommended, 10/10, great value for money, will be back for more soon!

Would not recommend anyone to eat here. Extremely poor service. We waited almost 2 hours for food - the waiter told us 3 times that the food was coming out soon but of course it never did. Food was average, if not slightly below. it would not take that long to plate such food. At the end they apologized and offered us complimentary drinks but thats not what we want, as a customer we just want good food in a timely manner. Many tables just got up and left after wasting 1 hour sitting there. We were actually quite excited to eat Peruvian food but the whole experience was disappointing. 0 stars.

Somewhat higher-end place serving peruvian food. Service is outstanding and the presentation of the food is beautiful: every french fry was individually arranged to form a little tower. Portion size is also somewhat higher-end: i.e., small enough to leave space for starter and dessert. Flavour-wise, I'm not an expert at Peruvian food, but I'd say it was good, but not out-of-this-world. Though there are a lot of interesting-sounding options on the menu, so I'll probably go there again to explore the menu.

I have been to this place 3 times. First visit myself and my partner picked 4 different dishes. Food was definitely tasty but we both left after a €45 bill still hungry. Servings are small and I would say it is most definitely over priced for the quantity of food provided. Second Time we went for the full chicken! €30 and most definitely did not leave hungry and the chicken was super tasty. The last visit we had the Tamales, super disappointing. We chopped it in half and all it was full of was pork fat. With the smallest amount of meat. Also the wantonsare tasty but a few barley had any filling! with a price of €12 it felt abit like daylight robbery finally for the main we shared huancaina chicken. I had 2 pretty big issues with this dish. One was the price and the quality of chicken used €17 euros for fatty chewy chicken pieces is beyond me. And the second issue was been given spaghetti instead of noodles. There is very much a difference between spaghetti and noodles. They say third time is the charm. But in this case is was a flop. And...
