Café Registrado — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Excellent choice to grab a quick coffee on the go (there is no table service, so your beverage is prepared very quickly) or to spend a few hours working on your laptop, especially if you can get one of the booth-like tables with a comfy bench couch on either side. The coffee itself is of good quality, with good acidity, which might not be to everyone's taste, but it combines beautifully with milk and the baristas here do know how to properly prepare a macchiato, a cappuccino and a flat white! In spite of the interior being a single large room, it is not noisy at all (ideal for remote work) and the tables are far apart from one another. The decor is somehow reminiscent of an English pub, but there are lots of design touches (from a sculpture of a supersized coffe cup at the entrance to delightful moka pot lamps) that set the tone of a proper cafe. Prices are in-line with other cafes and speciality coffees...

Una lástima que un lugar tan lindo esté sea atendido por personas que no comprenden la importancia de tener gente que consuma. Esta mañana ingresé a las 8.50am, me acerqué hasta la caja para preguntar porque todas las mesas libres eran de 2 y yo me reuniría con 2 personas mas. La persona que me contestó me dijo que no podía sentarme en una mesa mas grande si no estaban las tres personas. El local estaba vacío en ese momento y había 4 lugares con sillones de los cuales uno tenía una 1 persona, otro a 4 y dos tenían un cartel de "reservado 3 o mas personas". Esperé unos minutos y realicé mi pedido, cuando lo recibí ya dos personas se habían sentado en una de las mesas "reservadas", la persona que atendía no les dijo nada. Las personas que venían a reunirse conmigo durante todo el día ya estaban próximas a llegar entonces me senté a tomar mi desayuno a las 9hs en la última mesa que quedaba libre. 9.20hs ingresan 4 personas, juntan dos mesas y la persona de la caja se acerca a ofrecerles una mesa mas grande, viene hasta mi y me pide que me cambie de mesa, le explico que ya están por llegar las personas que espero y que estaremos muchas horas por lo cual no me iba a cambiar para luego volver además de que consumiriamos todo el día, me dice que ya me había dicho que no podía sentarme y le respondo que no la vi solicitarle a las dos personas que se sentaron que se cambien de mesa. De muy mal modo insiste y luego se da media vuelta diciendo que no soy comprensible. Llega una de las personas que esperaba 9.35hs, se acerca a pedir la clave de wifi y la misma persona que fue muy desagradable, le dice que no pudo hacerme entrar en razón y necesita que deje la mesa, ella le explica que estamos esperando a una tercer persona que está estacionando y aun así insiste en que dejemos la mesa o QUE NOS RETIREMOS. Solicitamos hablar con el encargado por la falta de respeto recibida y resultó ser la persona que estaba sentada SOLA en una de las mesas que supuestamente reservan para 3 o mas personas, el Sr. en lugar de demostrar su capacidad para estar a cargo de lugar sostuvo la insostenible POLITICA del lugar diciendo que ellos realizan una inversión y no es bueno tener una persona usando una mesa de 3 o más (cuando él mismo lo hace como se ve en la foto) y ni siquiera tenía el 50% del local lleno. El lugar está catalogado como lugar de trabajo y/o estudio en las redes por gente que se dedica a hacer reseñas, una pena porque realmente no cumplen con la función. Iba a ser un día de trabajo y consumo pero terminó siendo la peor experiencia en la cadena de café registrado. Dicho esto terminamos en AVOCADO GOOD FOOD que está a 2 cuadras y es realmente agradable en todos...

Terrible service. Me and my husband wanted to seat at sofa area because I have back injury, but waitress insist I have to seat at hard seat table regardless I told her my back is not well, she said that area is only for big group, but there is another single customer sitting there by himself, I don't know how can one person sit but not allow two people sit there , especially I have back injury? Later on I saw two other customers sorted there too. I'm pretty disappointed but have to just rest here for awhile as I was very unwell , I have fever and back injury =( . To make things worse , there wifi is not working well too, all depends on the wind direction, 50% time don't have signal , basically signal come and go in ever 2 minutes.

Terrible experience at this branch. Other one next to the shopping area close by are much better wifi and...
