This place was eh. There's not much else to say about it. It's your typical uninspired Argentine food. I ordered the Pasta with Pomodoro and Albahaca. I figured it'd come with actual Pomodoro sauce, as in tomato sauce. It came with brutally sliced chunks of tomato, basil that had the texture of being drenched under a faucet for too long and other vegetables that had no place in the dish.
All this said I've lived in Italy, so when I see Pesto Pasta as an option with whole nuts literally scattered on top of the pasta instead of inside of the Pesto like you'd think they'd be (which is the way this place is), I freak out.
The pepsi was good though, no complaints there. They brought us ice!
The menu was tearing, the place definitely needs renovations, but perhaps they really are keen on keeping the old money (albeit cheap) traditional look that they have going.
My suggestion: Go somewhere else... For whatever reason there seem to be a lot of mediocre restaurants in this neighborhood, which sucks because there are a lot of residents and workers around here. Cafe Martinez has never disappointed me, try there.
Pros: I got my pepsi, no problem It's cheap You can ingest it
Cons: Everything else (in a matter of preference) The packets of grated cheese are very difficult to open with your hands, so bring a pair of teeth.
TL;DR: Mediocre, Eh, Go elsewhere unless you're loyal...

Each meal came with a dull size glass bottle soda (or other options), and you could have a coffee or dessert after.
The after meal coffees were quite robust, and the flan was super rich and creamy. Staff were very nice. We found the prices to be...
