we passes by this place so many times, and it always looked so inviting so we had to try it for ourselves. It was a very strange dining experience. From the techno house music in the background, to the grinding noise of the A/C the atmosphere was already disappointing. I love good house music, but at 9pm in a formal dining restaurant it just seemed strange.
The waiter was very nice, but kept getting our orders wrong, or forgot them all together. I ordered a pisco sour as a cocktail, and although it was made very well, it was presented in a champagne flute, which made the drinking experience of it bizarre. You could never get the sweet egg froth together with the sour pisco / lime juice in one sip.
The tuna tartare was fine but very salty and drenched in so much sauce you could not taste the tuna flavour at all. Our main course arrived before our salads. The seafood paella was generally good, but also very salty. Again not able to taste the subtle flavours. Finally when the salad arrived it was the wrong salad, then finally brought the correct one and it was probably the best item we had had.
I think this restaurant is better than what we experienced. Sometimes you just get bad food and a bad waiter and its not the normal for...
Read moreMy dining experience at La Pescadorita was a mix of highs and lows. The ambiance was pleasant, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a fish restaurant. However, my encounter with the server, Maxi, was notable for his persistent recommendation of the special of the day. While I appreciated his enthusiasm, the dish itself fell short of expectations, earning a modest 3 out of 5 stars.
The special, though intriguing in concept, lacked the flavor profile I anticipated from a seafood-centric establishment. The presentation was appealing, but the taste didn't quite match the visual appeal. Despite the letdown, the rest of the menu showcased a variety of seafood options, providing a chance for redemption.
Service, beyond the persistent recommendation, was attentive, and the staff maintained a friendly demeanor throughout the meal. The overall impression leaves room for improvement, with potential to elevate the dining experience by refining the execution of their special dishes. La Pescadorita has the potential to be a standout fish restaurant, but a few adjustments could make it truly...

Food: took parrillada de mariscos - a pan with grilled seafood and fish, coming with additional cheesy rice and salad. Its tasty, goes for 2-3 people and costs about 52k. Took some other dishes as well - they are simple, but tasty, fish and seafood are very fresh. Personally, I don't like fish but here it doesn't have a fishy taste, it tastes fresh and good, with olive oil, herbs or grill smoke. I really enjoyed it. We were served warm bread, butter and some anchovy (?) as starter - I like when restaurant cares about you, it's all about small detail.
Service: everyone was warm and smiley. Parrillada was served in like 20 minutes, but main dishes (salmon es example) were served like 50 min since ordered. We were too tired to wait for desert.
Atmosphere: it's a cute place, big inside and outside. It has a bit of a strange "fisherman village" vibe. But I do enjoy it.
Overall I recommend if you...
