Victor audio bar — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Ambience and cocktails are good. The lighting and the interior of the bar are really well done. The service was not the best tho. Waiter offered us water without telling us that they will charge us for it. Many places in Buenos Aires offer free still water so we didn’t think much about it, especially since it’s a cocktail bar. I had a cocktail which wasn’t on the menu (mezcal margarita) and when they brought the bill they wanted to charge us 25.000$ for the mezcal margarita. Again without any communication. Martinis and other drinks from the menu cost about half of the price, 13000$ to be exact, so it was very surprising to get charged 25k for a mezcal margarita. After asking why, they changed it to 13000$ and that felt a bit like a tourist trap I guess? we still had to pay the water, which was not a problem but overall service and communication was poor. Go for the drinks, not the food. The space is stunning and the vibe’s on point—great lighting, solid music, perfect for a date. But if you're with a group, good luck hearing each other over the volume.

Now, the food? Rough. Nothing memorable unless you count the prices. We got hot dogs you’d expect from a street corner kiosco—plastic squeeze bottles and all—but somehow they’re charging like it’s gourmet. The fried chicken? Embarrassing. If you’re going to do elevated street food, do it well. I’d happily pay more for quality, but this was just lazy.
