Such an awful place, we actually came back here because the pizza was not that bad, even though the waiter really messed up our order and tried to get more money than we had to pay. When we sat down we were the only people in the restaurant and they where all chatting in the kitchen. We got the menus and then some people that were waiting for another place came in just to order a beer while they were waiting. The only waiter took their orders before ours and then went on to prepare their drinks for about 10-15 minutes, afterwards she went back to them just chatting and then preparing something else for them. Came here due to the high reviews and enjoyed the pizza but was severely disappointed by the steak.

I ordered the Argentine steak medium and it came completely overcooked (well done x2). I hated doing it, but even the wife agreed, so I sent it back. 2nd try came out literally raw, the meat was still cold inside. They didn't charge me for it but that still left me hungry after an hour. The whole experience ruined my evening.

Wife had the pizza. It was tasty but the chica size is pretty small so get the grande.

The empanadas are without a doubt the best that we’ve ever had! The dough is light, crispy and fresh and the ingredients just have that homemade taste. We came back a couple nights later to have them again! Plus, the staff is very warm and friendly. Our Spanish is horrible and so luckily they were able to provide a web link to a menu in English with their complementary Wi-Fi. We got to know the restaurant owner, Karen, who shared with us that this used to be her grandfather’s house when he first came to El Calafate back in the early 1900s. We wish her and her staff...
