Restaurant El Braserito — Restaurant in El Calafate

We had Cazuela de Cordero and Locro. Both from Argentinian cuisine but these were not the best examples at all. Because they were obviously cooked earlier and reheated in microwave for us. Outside of the food was too hot but in the middle of the plate was cold. Even big chunks of potato in cazuela was almost icy, it had the refrigerator taste. In locro, there were meat pieces very cold inside. For this food we waited more than 30min, it was very strange. Overall taste was bad and not fresh as well. Only good thing was the dessert named budin depan, it was ok. One dessert and one soft drink was included in the menu we ordered. So we paid 6040pesos for two persons. Worst restaurant I've been to in South America. The food was nearly inedible. I ordered three kinds of empanadas—all of them were so dry that I couldn't even finish half of one.

My aunt ordered a medium-rare steak, and it came out super well done. The woman ignored us when we mentioned it. Eventually, after we pleaded with them, they replaced it with a very rare steak. It was still better than the leather-like one they served first, but absolutely one of the worst meals...

Family restaurant. Decent service but very randomly sized portions. BBQ plate for one was generous and included some offal and meat. The chicken meal was tiny in comparison and was incredibly garlicy. Both were hot and cooked fresh on the grill to order, which was the best part.
