Traditional WANACO Bar — Restaurant in El Calafate

Terrible experience! First of all, it took them forever to wait on us, very slow service. Then we ordered a couple of burgers; my husband doesn't eat meat and ordered the "fish and lobster" burger and I ordered the guanaco one; they brought the burgers, my husband asked to confirm which one was the fish burger, they confirmed it and we started to eat. The burgers weren't very tasty, but I kept telling him that my guanaco burger tasted like fish. When he offered me his burger to try, we finally realized they had EXCHANGED THE BURGERS and put the fish one in my sandwich and the guanaco one in his!! We didn't finish the meal, told the waitress about their mistake, she just said "oh...", left and came back with the bill. We paid and left without a single apology....

Service was poor. However I,m not blaming the service for the poor review (as it was Christmas) and the only restaurant available.... I'm rating the terrible food. We asked for the chili con carne (not good)... Burger (classic and the lamb)... They were ok... But nothing really special... btw the meat was not good at all... My dad was really hungry and did not finish his meal. The nachos were ok. They were more like pitas with cheese and salsa... But it was the best that we ate at the restaurant . We asked for the guanaco stew... I did not enjoy that at all.. it was flavorless... I don't even know how to describe the flavors... It was really bad. I think they need to work more in their seasoning and top their service.. cause is slow and...

We had the unfortunate opportunity of dining in this place. We waited to be attended for quite a while with a dirty cleaning cloth on the table. It looked like the wait staff were doing us a favor by finally attending us. A party of three and we all chose different items from the menu. My cheeseburger was nothing short of a total disaster. Bland and half cold burger patty, stale and crumbling burger bun, cold and not even melted cheese. My meat patty had no flavor and was full of cartlidge pieces. The bun looked like it was from last week. I am not even gonna mention the meals of my wife and my son. Complete disaster. Never, but never going back there again. Try at...
