El Boliche de Alberto — Restaurant in Municipio de San Carlos de Bariloche

We went there eat and order some good food. We were help by a very nice young man.but at the time to go home i ask for the check.and another one came so i already did tell the money and also put a tip on it.so i knew very wel how much was there i was preparing to leave while suddenly this gentleman walks up on me and ask me very nice hy mam i think you need to put 2000 more cause the money is not right.i said What? He say you are missing 2000 to yet complete the pay.i said absolutly not!!!! I even put more than i was supose to pay so go!!! And the minute i rose my voice he said very sneaky soft kind a way ow than i should go wak back again an whatch if maybe it has not falling from me on the ground !!!! Such a nonsence!! Cause the money was wrapped so he had and couldnt never fall out!! He walks away and i just call the original one that has helped me and i told him very loud to go watch wat for nonsence is that he say very very nice to pardon him he wil go and find out.he went an came back whit the change so the money was now right there.i say you can keep the change.but it left us whit a very bad taste for such a nice place whit some good food. Be alert while paying for litle scams like this.also when we first went in to the restaurant we saw that anytime i wanted to call one of the obers they just do like they dont see you and walk past by you.very strange attitude like they dont need your money or they dont like their job.some of them had such a face and others whit fake smiles.i dont know whats wrong but maybe the owner needs to pay them better salary cause its...

The other reviews here about atrocious "service" -- or rather, lack thereof -- are true. I came to this establishment, since the wait for Alto El Fuego was quite long. I was hesitant to go, due to the reviews about bad service and the impression that it's "touristy". Nevertheless, I thought I'd give them a fair try..

When I got there, I was ignored for a while -- while several others were seated, even without reservations. I was standing in front of the line! It was only until I actually pointed at the guy and forced the issue, that he even acknowledged me.

Suffice it to say, that by the time I (finally) got seated, I was so irritated that I literally stood up while they were preparing the table, and walked out without saying a word. I took my chances, and decided to go back to Alto El Fuego. The wait was now shorter, since 45 minutes has passed.

STAY AWAY --- DON'T GO HERE!

The complaints about "service" are true. Go to Alto El Fuego instead; that's where the locals go, since they know the meat is superior. Even when full, at least they were polite enough to acknowledge you, and inform you that there may be a wait. On the other hand, El Boliche is where the basic tourists go. I would recommend La Casita too, which is just a few...

I have a hard time writing a bad review because I hate doing it. But we arrived 15 min before opening sat immediately and ordered within 4 min of sitting. Because we have two small children and it was late for them to eat. But we heard wonderful things about this place and wanted to make the effort to go. By 10 min the whole place was packed and slowly we saw everyone’s orders come out. Even ones who came 10 min after us (groups of 6) even. Everyone was eating. We had no food. We waited patiently and waited. It was over an hour and we didn’t have a steak. 9:10pm we asked if they forgot our order? 2 min later they bring two steaks, they are clearly rare! We cannot feed them to the kids this way. They take the steaks and cook them. But it’s another 15 mins later we eat. Thankfully the kids were ok behaving 2&5 The steaks and other food was great. We just wanted maybe a simple apology or Knowledge that something wasn’t right sorry just dissatisfied with such a “highly” talked...
