Empanada Un Buen Lugar — Restaurant in Ushuaia

Great late night empanada take out. Menu also in English and lots of different choices and stuff with veggies! The man behind the counter was friendly, helpful and liked working there. We ordered and waited maybe 10 minutes. In that time about 10 other customers came in for take out or dine in (mostly locals). Small cozy place with limited seating. Impressive drink and beer selection at reasonable prices. Atmosphere was cheery. Empanadas come branded with what that are. My runner husband post race was happy...

Good place to get fresh empanadas, they also have pizzas, sandwiches or tortillas (the spanish egg omelette)

There is a small extra charge for the lamb (cordero) or matambre (special meat) empanadas, as of January 2024 the standard price was 1000 pesos each or 6000 pesos for six

I ordered two fried empanadas and they were freshly cooked to order

Note the meat in lemon is also known as "arabe", try the "plum bacon and mozzarella" one!

Delicious empanadas. We came here twice. Large in size and great flavours. Good value for money. Box of 12 for 25,000. All flavours are good but I highly recommend the cheese and onion, caprese, blue cheese and tuna. My partner had the meat ones and really liked the lamb. Highly recommend to any tourists like us who are looking for a cheaper dinner but still high quality and filling!...
