Absolutely incredible! A taste of home and more! After 5 months traveling through SEA, my wife and I were feeling a bit under the weather and craving some familiar comfort food. Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane delivered and then some! I opted for the double mushroom Swiss smash burger and was blown away – it was arguably the best smash burger I've ever had. Seriously, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I also asked for a pineapple/orange juice, which wasn't on the menu, but the manager was fantastic and kindly explained it to her staff, and it came out perfectly on point. My wife went for the grilled chicken Caesar salad and an Old Fashioned (also off-menu). She said both were absolutely delicious, and the salad was impressively large! The food was super average. We ordered the wings as a starter. It took them around 20 minutes even though the place was almost empty. And when we got the wings finally, it was a little warm, and not crispy as you’d expect wings in buffalo sauce to be. Huge disappointment, felt like we got this dish after it was standing for a while and getting cold. The burgers were also quite disappointing. The bread bun was not very fresh and a little dry…We ordered a dessert hoping this will be good at least. We ordered a hot brownie fudge cake with ice cream and whipped cream. The cake was actually good, but all the other things were so bad, there was a white strange cream that is not close to be a whipped cream, and they have added sprinkles which was very unnecessary here. The vanilla ice cream had also very strange taste and texture. I have eaten in other branches of Hard a rock Cafe and didn’t except for such a disappointment. Ayer a la noche estuvimos ahi , nos cobraron una lata de Quilmes de 473 ml. $9200 . ( saladito) . Pero bueh. Lo que realmente me molesto un poco fue la poco sutil manera de imponernos una "propina sugerida" nos pedimos tres Original Legendary Burguer ( $27900 cada una) un agua saborizada de manzana y dos cervezas una lata de Quilmes de 473 ml y una botella de Corona de 330 ml. Total : $105000 . Y una nota que nos dio Mika ( nuestra mesera) donde una inscripcion impresa por parte de " Hard Rock Cafe Ushuaia " o "quien regentea esta franquicia" en este pueblo. Donde decia " La propina sugerida es del 10% de lo consumido" en nuestro caso $15000 ya que el ticket original rezaba con todo ( agua saborizada + lata + botellita de Corona + las 3 legendarys total : $105000 . Nuestro plan original era dejarle $ 4000 cash de propina en efectivo pero Mika nos dijo que lo mejor era pagar ese 10% "sugerido" tambien con la tarjeta e insistio en quedarse con ese ticket y la correspondiente inscripcion referida a la propina . Practica que nos resulto chocante y de mal gusto, no culpo a la empleada, pero si al que regentea esta franquicia en Ushuaia . No estoy en contra de dejar propinas pero si de que el comercio .este o el que sea me deje decidir a mi cuanto prefiero obsequiarles . Estas practicas se perciben violentas y por supuesto que son innecesarias.mi pareja quiso pagar con tarjeta y se sintio de alguna manera obligada e inducida a pagar el monto "sugerido" por HRCafe , ella prefirió no discutir , ni volver ese momento en una situacion desagradable . Pero la realidad es que le molesto lo mismo que a mi . No volveremos a visitarlos nunca mas .no al menos hasta que sus politicas de mal gusto aplicadas al momento de pagar sean mejoradas /corregidas. Estuvimos en 2023 dos dias seguidos . Y ayer 10 de Enero de 2025 y volvimos a visitarlos en compania de mi hija adolescente . Esas conductas atrasan . Evolucionen para bien señores.
