Arirang Korean BBQ — Restaurant in San Miguel de Abona

Parking easy. We were 4 persons, seated on the BBQ table. We had Mandú, similar to spring rolls, were ok. Some kind of noodles with chicken, ok Rice Korean style with beef and vegetables, yellow curry, ok. BBQ platter for 2 persons for app.€40 to be cooked on the grill. Not ok.Some raw vegetables to be grilled without oil nor spices, meat was pancetta, nothing else, some sauces, not remarkable. It would have been nice to get maybe less qualtity, but a variety of meat. Service, one experienced lady, the others beginners, but friendly. Wine card very limited. My guess is, that there is an amibitous chef, but no commercial experience. You cannot see the difference between any other Asian/Chinese restaurant and what is the Corean speciality. Prices are upper class, but the food, wine and service is not. Will check back in 3 months, always curious to see develpments.

This is the second time we have been here. The first time was shortly after the restursnt opened. The food was average and prices were high, but we were excited to have a Korean resturant and the Korean BBQ part was fun.

We came for the second time and the quaility of food has really gotten extremely bad. My partner and I spend 72€ and we got very little food and left still hungry. The kimchi just tates like regular cabbage with some sauce on it and not firmented at all, the bubble tea was just pre-made store bought tea, all the meat was mostly pure fat, and the dipping suaces were 2€ each for a tiny little cup which must of been equal to a McDonalds ketchup packet amount. The waiter was on his phone the whole time and it was constantly a struggle to get his attention. Very sad to see a place that could be so amazing being so expensive and poor quaility. We...

Been here twice before and got told the kitchen was closed (way before the hours on Google said)... Today we came 1.5 hours earlier and only take away was possible . I ordered a beef ramen... Dry overcooked meat with no vegetables and extra added fish in a beef ramen! Unacceptable. My wife ordered a 'ramen' of chicken stock... She's putting in a pizza cause it just not possible to eat. A €1 noodle box in any shop tastes better then this food. I don't put a bad review quickly, but this is a real offence to any asian Cuisine that actually knows what Asian Cuisine is. I wont even mention the inpatient service and the extra charge they charge you to do takeaway (which was the only option we had as the kitchen was almost closed again...) Poor overall, not a...
