This hotel was housed in a very huge and grand looking building with a spacious and beautiful lobby and decently sized rooms. However this wass where all of the good points ended. In the bathroom the shower area was exactly opposite the toilet and there was no partition of any sort between the two,and so after having a shower one could not use the toilet for about 10 to 15 minutes until the puddle of water drained away.On the very 1st night after putting on the Ac the room began to get hot. When i complained to the receptionist,he told me that management had decided to shut the AC down for the next 6 months and replace the AC system with the heating system.I asked him for a fan which he said the hotel did not have.He said that the most that i could do was to open the window. At breakfast,my friend ordered an omelette, which looked like an omelette when he received same.I ordered an omelette with vegetables and i in turn received watery scrambled eggs with tomatoes. When i complained to the chef through the waitress (because of language problems)instead of being apologetic he got annoyed with me although he served me a wrong dish. When I complained to the receptionists, one of them was peeved with me and said that watery scrambled eggs with tomatoes was an Armenian version of an omelette. The next morning i ordered an omelette without vegetables and got a "perfect"omelette, where the look of the omelette was concerned.Needless to say the taste was useless.|All in all, a terrible experience at this hotel and so i definitely would not...

Read moreWe had read various reviews and were a bit concerned about staying here. But, there are always some poor reviews everywhere.||We booked through Expedia. Through Expedia we asked the hotel to arrange transportation from the airport as we arrived to Yerevan at 3 am. The hotel made all arrangements and we had no issues checking in around 4 am (we had paid for an extra day).||The hotel provided excellent breakfast with a huge variety of items. ||There were always helpful staff at the front reception and our experience was very positive with their language skills.||They were also helpful with questions about the city, taxi, bottled water, etc.||Our room was fairly sized. I don't think the TV remote worked, possibly just the batteries. But, frankly, we just wanted to enjoy the adventures and didn't care about the TV.||The hotel is located within walking distance of everything in the main circle. Vermissaj, the daily flea market is 2 blocks away. You have supermarkets within 1 block. There is a drycleaning business 1/4 block, etc.||The washrooms are wonderfully renovated. The shower and toilet are in the same space but across from each other. So, when you shower you splash some water but in great scheme of things, this is minor and very tolerable.||We absolutely loved our stay...
