Elie's Lahmajun — Restaurant in Yerevan

I used to enjoy eating in this restaurant but on my last visit I suspect the chef was on leave (the best case scenario) or that they changed the chef to someone who can't cook (the worst case scenario).

The za'atar mankoushe was the only edible item.

The muttabal was literally swimming in the cheapest oil imaginable (highly refined transparent cooking oil).

The ichli köfte were also tasteless and the fattouch salad had no radish and felt it was made in the morning and kept in the fridge.

Arabic lahmajoon was just ok but seeing it is August why not add some parsley for added flavour and nutrients? (Parsley costs next to nothing in summer).

Absolutely loved my experience at Elie’s Lahmajun! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home. The place itself is incredibly cozy—a real hidden gem that you might just walk past if you didn’t know better.

Now let’s talk about the food—the lahmajun is hands down some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp, flavorful, and clearly made with love. It’s the kind of bite that keeps you coming back for more. And to top it all off? They serve the coldest Kilikia beer in town—seriously refreshing and the perfect companion to the meal.
