I've seen places, but this one probably stands out with its insulting level of service. The food is quite okay, though, even by Japanese standards. Here is what happened, if you mind to read: we ordered three meals, one came within 10 minutes, which is great, and after reminding the waitress that we had been waiting for our meals 15 minutes later, we had the second one come after another 30 minutes. At this point, one hour had passed since we sat. Then after reminding multiple times it turned out they had forgotten about the third meal. No actual apologies, a waiter told us the waiter is new. But it doesn't even end there. 1h45 had passed, we wanted to go home and asked the bill . On the final bill of about 40k amd for three, they had added an extra item which we hadn't ordered for 2700 amd. After telling them this fact, we have to wait another twenty minutes and notice the waiter is on the phone with someone. Adding insult to injury, the waiter actually dares comes to tell us that the boss, who wasn't even there, played the video of our entire time to check if we were lieing, probably from the comfort his home. As i say, i ve seen some, but this kind of stuff is simply...
Read moreThis is a good Japanese restaurant with a real Japanese chef. I was in Japan a couple of years ago and most of the time I spent in sushi bars. I want to say that this place is very close to what I experienced, especially the first floor where the conveyor is installed.
The fish is fresh, tasty and juicy as it is intended, but we didn't find a lot of different species on a belt. We missed tuna of different kinds (fatness), but it's Armenia, it's hard to get a variety of good fish. In terms of comfort: if you decide to take a seat around the belt, then you are probably sitting face to face to other customers. Also take an advantage and check Japanese toilet in the bathroom, that's a masterpiece. Lemonades are not lemonades, more of a fruit drink with ice, better to order some water. Service is great, welcome, but sometimes they forgot the dishes or if you were already asked about the order or not. I blame the fact that amount of the customers and orders are high
Quality of the fish: 5/5 Variety of the fish: 4/5 Atmosphere and comfort: 4/5 Lemonades: 3/5 Quality of the service: 4/5

Read moreThe best Japanese cuisine restaurant in Yerevan! I want to emphasize that it's specifically Japanese, not pan-Asian cuisine. One of the owners is a Japanese person living in Armenia. You won't find the familiar Philadelphia and California rolls here, but you will find sushi, sashimi, gyoza, ramen, donburi, and many other authentic Japanese dishes. Some may find the prices a bit high, but try to find dishes with fresh fish cheaper in Yerevan. I've been coming here for lunches a couple of times a week for at least six months (1300-2800 dram). I recommend lunches with karaage, ramen, soba, and for fish lovers - kaisen chirashi don. Recently, the owner of this restaurant treated us to homemade Japanese curry, which they are planning to add to the menu soon. Perhaps, it will become my favorite warming dish in winter. In general, I highly recommend visiting, especially if you've always dreamed of going to Japan to try real...
