Husband and I had chicken banh mi and pork noodle bowl for lunch. I ordered a hot Vietnamese coffee. Food was served exceptionally quickly. Husband’s noodle bowl was excellent. My banh mi was drenched in mayonnaise and there was skin on the chicken. Bread and salad were fresh. I ordered chilli with mine but couldn’t taste any.

The Vietnamese hot coffee didn’t seem to be made in a phin; it arrived too quickly, was frothy and didn’t have the flavour and smoothness I expected. It was also served in a mug, & seemed more like what I imagine instant Vietnamese coffee to be like. I asked a waitress how it was made. She told me with condensed milk and coffee. I asked if made in a phin - she said ‘yes’. I didn’t drink it & when a seemingly more senior staff member cleared the table I advised her the coffee wasn’t what I expected ie not made in a phin. To her credit, she offered to make me a new one but we were out of time.

Overall, some good dishes, very quick service but some elements not traditional enough - ask the staff for little or no mayo on banh mi! Prices OK but cheaper elsewhere- probably higher due to...

The woman stand in the front of the shop talking on the mobile phone more than 5mins don’t notice me standing there in front of her. She Still talking on the mobile phones. I told her I went a Pork Chop with rice (she was not listening to me) and than I told her Second time I went pork chop with rice. I waited for more than 10mins. She start preparing for the me for me. Guest what she preparing wrong meal for me. She prepares Roster Pork with rice. I told her I wanted Pork Chop with rice. She said is correct. I really think she understands what I’m talking about? I bought three Banmi Sendwichs. Sheep is plentiful. The price is a little more expensive than elsewhere. However, it is a reasonable price because it contains enough ingredients. The restaurant owner is very kind and the atmosphere of the store is good.
