I will start off with the staff on how friendly and helpful they are duration of the function.

Owner needs to look into hiring more staff and having them ready and available for large functions as it was a busy day and not enough staff at all. There were 2 staff waitering in and out, at most was only one handling most of the time for more then 40 people at the time.

The food was delayed a bit, reasonably with little staff and large number of people.

These are based on personal opinions and feedback from others that was there. However most of the food came out either cold, overcooked or undercooked. Beef and Chicken — Mains Gnocchi pasta sauce was not the best. Given the circumstances of staff, this result having the food not come out right. I do believe this place has a lot of potential however. The entree food was absolutely amazing, the Arancini was perfectly cooked with the sauce being just right, the calamari/squid was the best I have ever had tasted, it was cooked so perfectly well, not chewy at all and the sauce to go with compliments super nice, the antipasto platter is decent, size is generous and price is just right. The mains however needs a bit of work on (may be issue of staff) Portion size however is very good, pricing is decent too. Upstairs was setup nicely and neatly. Good variety of drinks selection as most restaurants would have. The downstairs area being newly renovated and change of name, they do look very...

well for starters the Byblos cup was audacious because it was absolutely mortifying its supposed to be avocado juice mixed with strawberry and banana juice with all different fruits and seeds on top but the color made me want to be sick it was a weird shade of brown and there was like big gooey strawberry pieces floating in it along with bananas it made me lose my appetite instantly, then I ordered my salad the fattouch I specifically asked them not to put radishes on it because I'm deadly allergic to radishes and when I get my salad its full of radishes so when I called my waiter back over they said they misheard me unbelievable anyways I moved on from the salad that almost killed me and ordered mansaf which the menu said had lamb, rice, and nuts when I got my plate there was this gross gooey liquid I don't know if that was suppose to be there but it grossed me out I also got the ashta which is a yogurt like substance because it sounded good I am now incredibly sick vomiting my guts out and I thought it tasted off but makes sense now, it was bad poison I don't even know why I continued eating there but one thing is for sure I'm never going back and I advice you all to not go either especially the service it took to damn long and its incredibly expensive for one person. my waiter was rude he said "k" like what and the mood of the place was giving I might get robbed anyways please I warn you...

Dined with my husband, the welcome and atmosphere was fantastic. The food was also delicious - we ordered the baba ghanouj, samki meshwiyi and mixed grill. Can't fault the food at all and we would like to return to try other dishes on the menu.

Downside to the evening was having our bread basket removed when we first ordered our meals, only to be returned when we had finished both mains. I understand and appreciate it was complimentary, but it was pointless to the meal at that stage.

Additionally, I was given my drink on my last bite of main, and after my husband had also finished his meal I decided to get up and ask politely when my husband would receive his drink as we had both now finished mains. She did smile as I approached, but I was bluntly told 'its coming'. I've worked in hospitality and customer service and will always be polite and patient, but perhaps there are better responses than 'its coming'. Receiving drinks when all food was served and finished is not good.

[A couple dining across from us experienced the same issue with drinks. They were a little less polite in pointing this out to staff, also asking 3x for the table beside them to be cleared as it had dishes from last diners since they had first arrived. They had also both finished their main meals and filled leftovers in a take away container by the time their drinks arrived.]

Table / drinks service could definitely...

We had an amazing experience at Byblos, not having a booking on a very busy Friday night was our mistake but they accommodated to us in a very friendly manner. The food was next level amazing we ordered 2 entrees being Olives & Pickle, Halloumi and to our surprise we also got some beautiful hot Turkish bread with olive oil and dukka. The Halloumi was next level amazing I’ve had it plenty of times and this hands down was the best we have ever eaten, the olive and pickle plate was tasty and didn’t go to waste. Menus we ordered the mixed grill for 2 WOW unless your really big eaters this could definitely feed 3 people. The skewers the salad and that garlic dip was all on point. We literally didn’t have a bad word to say about it and the only thing we left behind was the chips because no way we could fit those in. We were in a good coma in the end and couldn’t fit in any desserts which I’d love to try next visit. Overall I highly recommend this place the menu had plenty to suit anyone’s taste and the food was all spot on. The one and only thing I’d say if I’m being slightly picky is that they needed to give us a little more time between entree and mains.

My husband and I visited Byblos in North Adelaide for a midday meal, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised by how warm and inviting the atmosphere was, especially since it wasn’t too busy at that time. For lunch I had the Tawook Plate, which was absolutely delicious flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the BBQ Octopus, and it was so fresh and beautifully charred. Every bite was a delight. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Our waitress was not only incredibly lovely but also extremely professional and helpful. She took the time to recommend the Lebanese tea with mint and cinnamon, which I was a bit skeptical about at first. But, wowwwwwww… once I tasted it, I was blown away. It was surprisingly amazing, and I couldn’t have imagined it tasting so good. No words can really describe how perfect it was. A huge thank you to both the waitress and the chefs. You made this meal the best I’ve had in many years, and I can’t wait to return! ☺️

Service was 50/50. New fella tending to our table was super friendly. Guy running the place seemed bothered or irritated the one time I approached him for something. Started the night off with melt in your mouth garlic bread, gooey second to none arancini balls and polpette (meatballs - slightly overcooked). Though tasty (and filling - with 2 shared mains to come!) Next up we had the Fritto Misto (pretty much a fancy seafood basket). Though it was tasty I found it slightly overcooked and I found it to have a few too many chips and not enough seafood for the price. Then we had the CAPRI pizza which was so delicious and a perfect base. All up it was a delicious birthday night for my beautiful girlfriend and we finished up with a birthday pavlova which was sticky and gooey and yum. A nice runner up dessert given we asked for a timarisu with a candle in it ahead of time but learnt upon arriving they had run out of tiramisu... It was a mostly tasty evening celebrating the birthday of an amazing woman. Love you wifey x
