You’ll find this Italian cafe in the Rundle Mall, it looks nice, with all your Italian favs… All I wanted after a nine hour drive from Melbourne was a nice cold Matcha Latte, it’s hard enough finding a caffe that makes them with just straight “organic matcha powder” - not a matcha blend, let alone finding one that makes a “good one” I was happy enough to find this cafe who stocked the powder (not organic) - however - I ordered a large, which came in a hot takeaway coffee cup - no straw - (strange) it cost me $9 💵🥺💵😳💵 & the powder wasn’t dissolved properly, (in Melb we pay $6.50 for a large that’s much bigger) The service was ok… Will defs have to keep searching for the perfect Matcha whilst in Adelaide 😔

I enjoy grabbing a coffee from there every time I’m in Adeliade 10 days/monthly for the past 6 months, but the Barista girl who always wear glasses has a sh!t attitude everyday, she never said thank you or even smiled ( she doesn’t has to do that ) , but the way she pass the coffee on the counter like she is serving a dog 😅! Brooo! Not sure what’s going on with her 😂. But seen her saying thanks and smiling occasionally for other customers. Must be something wrong with me not sure what it is. Generally I don’t criticise people so hard and I understand that someone might have a bad day from time to time . But that’s not the case with her. 5 stars ⭐️ for the coffee ☕️ 0 ⭐️ for the Barista attitude .

Imagine you order a crusty croissant and then the waitress gives you a completely different one. I don't even know the name of the croissant but the Asian bun-haired lady insisted that it was the one we ordered. Bad attitude and long face. I ordered the crusty croissant with my friend didn't we know that? My friend is even Italian wouldn't she be able to tell the difference? Is it so hard to admit you made a mistake? Me and my friend quivered with anger. WORST service experience ever. I hope you are working here part time to raise money for a hearing operation and all the waiters serving you in the future are like you:)

Extremely disappointed in the professionalism of the staff especially the Asian lady making the coffee on Sunday morning 19/12/22. She is downright horrible with her attitude and has no intention of making up for the messed up order.

I was having a quick breakfast with my two young daughters and I ordered the muffin and coffee deal for $9. As my order arrived, we had 2 babycinos came to our table as well and I actually thought this came as a complimentary from the café therefore I kindly accepted it. 10 minutes later, the Asian lady who was making the coffee came out and asked if I ordered the babycinos. She was confrontational and I told her I genuinely thought this was complimentary. She was rude and continuously defended herself by saying there's no café in the whole Adelaide that serves free babycino (FYI - pony and cole cafe in Hindmarsh does complimentary babycinos). The fact that if these two babycinos were two iced latte or coffee; I would obviously said it's not my order because why would my daughters (2 and 1 years old) drink coffee at this age?! I was keeping my cool and I kept explaining to her that it was a perfect misunderstanding and I'm willing to pay for it if you apologies. She didn't want to do it and continued to be very defensive. In the end, I walked off as it's starting to cause a scene and I didn't want my daughters to see the whole situation. I would like to assume she had a very bad day but the fact you're being angry and defensive in front my two young daughters are downright unacceptable.

It's a shame that I'm not coming back anymore as I actually like your coffees. Thanks...

Caffe De Marco is a delightful spot that brings a little slice of Italy to town. The cafe’s ambiance is warm and welcoming, with soft lighting, rustic decor, and cozy seating that make it perfect for relaxing, catching up with friends, or enjoying a quiet moment alone.

What truly sets Caffe De Marco apart is its focus on authentic Italian desserts. From creamy tiramisu to perfectly crisp cannoli, every treat is made with top-quality ingredients and a passion for traditional Italian flavors. Their panna cotta is silky smooth, and the biscotti pairs wonderfully with their expertly brewed coffee. Don’t miss their gelato, which comes in a variety of rich and refreshing flavors—it’s like a quick trip to Italy with every bite.

Of course, the coffee is just as impressive. Their espresso is bold and rich, served with the perfect crema, and their lattes and cappuccinos are balanced and indulgent. The staff is warm and attentive, happy to recommend dessert and drink pairings to make your experience even better.

Caffe De Marco is not just a cafe; it’s an experience. Whether you’re looking for a great cup of coffee, a place to unwind, or authentic Italian desserts, this spot will exceed your expectations. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great flavors and genuine hospitality!

,Sincerely...

Imagine for a moment a heavily pregnant woman, Needing a seat while she waits for a friend to come out of the nearby toilets. Then a man came up to her demanding if she was going to place an order. The woman said “I am just waiting for a friend to come out of the toilets, not sure if or what she wants to order”. Then man told her she is not allowed to sit there unless she orders something, in an extremely RUDE manner. No wonder the place didn’t have many people there. Nor was there any signage on tables informing people of that “ policy” of no order no seat. Even if the prospective customer is heavily pregnant. Go back to school, learn customer service 101. Be polite you just may have missed out on a $60 lunch order. Oh and not everyone lives in the Adelaide metro area, people do visit from rural and regional country areas, or even interstate, they come home and they tell others about rude and shoddy experiences. I will never go to that place. Not only lost 2 customers but lost another couple of hundred more. Not good look for the hospitality industry which is struggling enough as...
