I sent in my feedback privately through the website ‘contact me’ form and never received a reply. I am sharing my experience here instead. My feedback can be found below;
Hi Daily Fix Management,
I visited your Glenelg location today and was unfortunately really disappointed with the food. Your staff were accommodating and friendly, however the food that was served was undercooked.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Bacon instead of Smoked Salmon. First I was served the meal and after breaking into the egg, it was uncooked with a runny white contents. The undercooked eggs then ran all over the plate and onto the rest of the food.
As soon as this happened I spoke to the staff and they took away my plate. After they returned, the brought back the same food but with replaced eggs. At this point the Hash Brown I had paid for was cold, as well as the hollandaise sauce and muffins. After accepting the state of the meal (being cold) I decided to just eat it because my 9 month old was hungry and waiting to share my meal with her. After cutting into the bacon I soon discovered that a majority of the bacon was uncooked and completely white. It was folded in a way that some parts were cooked, but a majority of the fatty bits were unexposed to the pan and completely uncooked. I took a photo of this if you want to see it.
After I was finished your staff didn’t ask about the meal, or apologise for the inconvenience. As a stay at home Mum (former business owner) I don’t get the chance to eat out often, and when I do it’s because I have saved money for a special occasion. I have eaten here before and was really happy with the food, however this time it was a disappointing experience. As a former business owner, I would rather give you this feedback instead of leaving a negative review on Google, in hopes that you could rectify this for a future visit and to not stain the reputation of your business online.
If you are willing to rectify this with a replacement of the meal, I would prefer to visit your Westlakes store in the future as your Glenelg store also didn’t have a safe high chair. The high chair provided didn’t have the safety straps installed which would result in my 9 month old being able to climb out and stand up. I actually own the exact same high chair at home, hence why I know that this is a scenario that would happen.
I hope this email finds you well and that this provides an opportunity for this to be rectified. I am fairly sure that I met the owner once before (a lovely lady with glasses from memory) and she seemed redeeming and very welcoming.

Read moreI have been a regular customer at the Daily Fixx for the past couple of years, even more so since new owners took over in December last year I believe. The staff are, and always have been super friendly. However, I have noticed that they seem happier & more relaxed since the take-over. I'm someone who really appreciates a good cup of coffee. My friends would even go as far as calling me a "coffee snob," something I don't deny lol. 😆 I can honestly say that I have never had a bad, or even an average coffee from this cafe. Every cup I've ordered has been made to perfection. I put this down to the baristas, whom I've come to know quite well. #1 Frida, who has always been so friendly & welcoming, not to mention a fabulous barista. She has been at The Daily Fixx ever since I first started going. More recently, another fantastic Barista, Bedi, who from memory started working at the DF around Oct/Nov last year. Both girls clearly take pride in what they do. I can't say a great deal about the food, as I'm mainly there for the coffee. However, I can vouch for the zucchini pie and the yummy protein balls. To sum up, I will happily continue getting my "daily fix" from the Daily Fixx. ☕️ Great coffee, fabulous friendly service, and the cafe itself has a great vibe and atmosphere. I can't end without mentioning that this cafe is also dog friendly "within reason of course" My baby girl Summer, a senior (miniature long-haired dachshund) accompanies me in her pram regularly and she is much loved by the staff, which I truly...

This cafe is different. This is how cafes SHOULD operate.
Thank you to the kind staff that made me the best coffee I've had in months! I'm an old school barista, so I hope you receive that in it's full glory.
The menu is very palatable and their customers were openly commenting on the high quality.
I hope this cafe goes far. The new staff are obviously very dedicated, hard working and actually care. Yes, they care about your coffee, they care about your food, they care that you feel comfortable.
That's rare.
