Glenelg Spices — Restaurant in Adelaide

We recently dined at the Spices Glenelg on Brighton and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with elegant décor and soft lighting that created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had everything we needed. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations — every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I ordered the glenelg spice fried rice which was their “special kind of fried rice”. The rice was cold and they were sweet as hell.

I laughed so hard after eating my first spoon. I asked for a chilli sauce or soy sauce. They have me fresh cut chilli to mix in rice and that chilli would literally burst me off. And then the waitress got me soy sauce after 15 mins.

We ordered 2 kinds of starters- took them 40 mins to get them.

We were a table of four- each person’s main course meal came late, and that too at seperate timings.

Second time in a row ordering delivery and we asked for Prawn and cashew and got chicken. Make a call and after telling you noi put the phone on the counter and walked away??? Rang back again and get the response, oh make a note and we’ll give you one for free.Absolutely useless now as my partner doesn’t eat chook! Happy to charge the extra $5 though 😡 You guys used to be the best in the bay. Now you’re down the bottom of the list. We will see you for a refund as discussed. $83 to not get what was ordered twice…….. No where near...
