An opening statement to this venue.. what the hell happened? I last visited FnS about 1year ago and it was fantastic. Fresh produce, and a service catered to customers needs. Instead i receive know-it-all responses to my questions and requests, and produce from tins, tubs and containers. Dont try to fool customers when you operate a business. We requested the smashed avocado, sliced avocado on the side, we received it mushed in a guocomole fashion. We were then told, "thats how we make it". But i requested it sliced and you said "yes" and proceeded with the order. They gave menus with photos and i requested the nutella waffles, they said "we dont make that, instead we have blueberry pancakes". Okay, why hand me the menu with an appealing photo of items you dont sell?. Next the Blueberries came in the pancakes with slices of banana in between the layers of 3 pancakes and the stingiest amount of maple syrup. In 2 bites, there was no more maple syrup. The pancakes were a sloppy mush, watery and had the texture of the pa cake mix still running, never again... We asked for our chair to be wiped down, as it had a sticky wet mess on it before we arrived, the server told me, "yeah it doesnt come out" the finally walked over, sprayed and cleaned it, and it was clean. Again, the know-it-all attitude comes out. They also seem to charge you for newspapers aswell, as if the price tag on the food wasnt enough. My partner left her handbag and we came bag for it 20 minutes later, only to find the table had not been cleared, and the bag still on the chair, thankfully untampered. For a venue as empty as it is, the cleaning routine is lacking aswell....
Read moreFirstly for a Sunday morning being greeted by a Random person basically sitting in the seat directly near the front door which I later found out is actually the either the manager or the owner.out the door with no identification of who he is I now understand the awkwardness that has been described to me through friends he greeted me without even saying hello but gave me this early type of stare. Moving forward the staff were pretty good there’s one Asian lady I found to be absolutely unprofessional this is not the first time I’ve heard of this about the Asian lady. I would not for one Minutes recommend this place nor go back to this place ever again. If they can’t even cook an omelette when the chef is already cooking eggs we spent roughly $150 on breakfast and that’s how they treat their customers. I strongly recommend going to a different restaurant To top it off they should I say the owner/manager with a bald head was greeting somebody else outside directly near the front door to another customer who assumes all the family or close friends who had two dogs and they were barking they were jumping on other customers they tried to bite an elderly gentleman. And the owner is so arrogant that he couldn’t even ask that lady to stop her dogs from jumping and barking Continuously on mustard continuously I must add it was very uncomfortable unprofessional...
Read moreSome of the worst customer service I’ve ever received. We arrived at 9am and most of the tables were booked. We noticed there was a booking for 10:30 so we asked if we could sit there as we had to leave by 10. The waitress then tells us no because they have a lot of orders coming through so it wasn’t possible. Luckily this nice lady gave us her table she was sitting out but it only had two chairs. Well the sass we got about from this waitress having to find a 3rd chair…my god. This cafe made us feel like a huge inconvenience to them and were so unwelcoming - Sorry for trying to give you guys business? We sat down and then 10 minutes later a gentleman came in and asked to sit at the table booked for 10;30 and he was told yes? What’s with the different rules? We then put our coffee order and our food order in and we were happily waiting. We understood it’s a busy cafe and they were working hard. The gentleman who was on the table booked for 10:30 put his order in after us and then proceeded to get served before us. So we just wanted to double check with the waitress that our orders were in…and she proceeded to snap back “yes they’re coming - I only have two hands”. What an incredible rude way to treat customers. Will be warning people...
