I just got the boba tea here. I love boba tea, and Gongcha is my favorite boba tea since I move here from America. Tonight I was so disappointed with the customer service at this boba tea shop. This is the first time I write reviews on google because this customer service was so terrible and unacceptable. I want to let the owner/manager know so that their staff can be trained to provide better customer service. First come first serve, every body knows it is the rule. I ordered 4 bobas. After making payment, I just waited and waited. Then a guy came in and ordered 1 drink. Then another girl ordered 1 drink. We were all waiting. It was about the closing time so the shop was quite and there was no order before my order. However, the guy’s order was served and he got his drink while I was still waiting for my order. And then the girl got her order. All of our drinks were ready before those 2 orders but it just been left on the bench, so my sister asked if they were ours and if yes, could we have it.Then, the staff started put 2 drinks in the bags, but she found one of the drink wasn’t sealed properly so they had to re-sealed that cup again. It took 10secs to do but once it was re-sealed, my drinks were left on the bench again. The staff returned to her cleaning, mopping the floor. My drinks were just sitting there. I just felt like the staff didn’t bother to serve because cleaning to get the shop closed was more important to them. I waited for a good 7mins before finally got the drink. In total we would have waited for 15mins for our order whilst the drinks were left on the bench for 10mins. It is unaceptable. Even if she didn’t get train before work, she still know first come first serve as it is very basic skill that everyone should know. Read moreOverall, the drinks here are fine, what I want to say is about the staff. I think this Gongcha needs to be consistent with the number of toppings they can put in the mango latte. My order here most of the time is the mango latte with 3 toppings, all made without any issue. However, today, the counter staff (different one to the ones I usually see) told me that they only cater to maximum 2 (including the mango pearls). When I told her about my past orders and how I can get 3, she went with it anyway but with a not-so-pleasant attitude (from what I can see). She made me regret my decision almost immediately, she didn't give me the receipt, gave me pearls instead of white pearls (I asked for white pearls, which I guess it's part of my fault for not checking it carefully afterward), tossed the bag when I asked for 1 towards to me absent-mindedly. At this stage I just wanted to leave the shop asap, I have never seen nor encountered customer service like this at any Gongcha before, even the ones at Melbourne CBD, they are way busier but none of this has happened there. If it's the company's recipe that there can only be 2 toppings, I sincerely asked for the message to be get across to all staff. And I also have to thank that staff for finally giving me the motivation to stop drinking milk...
Read moreI was trying to order a normal drink and I just wanted to say no sugar and no topping, she became really angry at me ( angrily saying we don't add sugar and topping with this drink )and then fussing sth with her co-worker. I know you guys don't add the sugar and the topping for the mango smoothie, it's just that i forget that, and I just added that remark. but why are being so rude( specifically referring to one staff whom she knows)I know you guys work really hard to keep up with the pace of customer serving, but you don't have to get angry easily just if there's a little misunderstanding by customer. I have been to your neighbour store, and I kept mentioning the same thing because I forgot it, but believe me they are always so nice. If the manager thinks this is a defamation, I will surely give the timing and the date to camera check this...
