Worst. Experience. Ever. How to begin.. we found this place to stay, because it was the cheapest one in Adelaide (20$ per person for a night) When you go inside you have to cross the corrido, which is pretty dark but still okay, that's not the problem. The room was just awful... A staff from the bar opened the door for us, there was a dirty underwear on the floor, which must have been pretty embarrassing as he quickly grabbed it and hid it behind his back. The bed looked clean first, but after all was full of dust. There was mould all over the place. The sink was dirty (dry yellow liquid inside, problably pee and full of hairs) The floor was dirty as well (not vacuumed). It means the 'housekeepers' just make the bed and don't even bother cleaning the room. I mean it's not hard to take the underwear and throw it away, instead they just leave it there, just not understandable. Oh... and when my boyfriend sat down on the bed, the mattress fell on the floor.
The toilets were smelly and disgusting. We didn't even had a look inside the kitchen and directly decided to leave. Here's the funny part! When we told them we don't stay here because it's just awfully dirty, the guy said 'That's why it's just 20$, what did you expect for this price?' That was the moment when we just grabbed our stuff and left. I mean the building is old and you can see that, but is it asked too much to just have a cleaned up room? I don't think so. There's other places where you pay 22$ and get a clean and nice room. If that's the price to have a clean room, I'm more than happy to pay the 2$ more. Seriously, never go there, it's the worst place I have ever seen in my life... (and I'm a backpacker). You have places to stay in Adelaide, which are one million times better, have clean rooms and a good chilli atmosphere. It's...
Read moreI had an issue with my credit card and while I was trying to sort it out, the bartender (with curly hair) decided to throw away the beer he had already served me instead of waiting for me to resolve the problem. His attitude was quite arrogant, as if he were doing me a favour rather than providing a service, and he also responded in an unfriendly manner.
I believe situations like this highlight the importance of proper customer service training. A business is not only sustained by its facilities or products, but by the way it treats its customers. It would be very valuable for the team to improve in this area, as the customer experience is what ultimately makes the difference between returning or not...
Read moreI had an awful experience at The Little Pub. I was denied entry by the security staff solely because I was wearing Crocs. What made this worse was seeing a white man wearing Crocs, along with his friend in flip-flops, being allowed inside without any issue.
This double standard is unacceptable and reeks of racial discrimination. The security guard’s behavior was blatantly biased, and it’s disheartening to witness such treatment in a public establishment.
I expected better from The Little Pub, but this incident left a bitter taste. I’ll never be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values fairness...
