Worst Experience so far from GUZMAN Y GOMEZ King William St. YOU USED TO BE AMAZING?! What happened? Too confident and you've let your service slip sO much. My food was DEAD COLD. COLD and I was looking forward to a delicious "clean fresh" HOT meal but no, COLD. Even the guy served before me said he was eating frozen chips. I asked for extra Guacamole and got a tiny teaspoonful?! Not even normal size ammount let alone Extra. The guy serving was really doing his best.. told us they were understaffed.. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Only 2 guys working on a busy Thurs night.. are you kidding me? And the cook had the WORST attitude I've ever seen in one of your cooks. Big beardy aggressive guy slamming around meals.. when I demanded my extra guac he SLAPPED it down hard and aggressively onto the nachos and shoved it away from him. UNBELIEVABLE. Worst energy and customer service EVER. This guy needs to be fired. Everyone could see he didn't want to be there at all. And did I mention.. ALL THE MEALS WERE COLD?! NO CARE AT ALL. Nachos, Chicken tenders + chips, Burrito.. $40+ worth.. ALL DEAD COLD. Couldn't eat it. The nice meal I'd planned for my gf and I utterly destroyed. The long day of work at the hospital amplified by the stress of the meal I was looking forward to.. which was TERRIBLE. Honestly, your quality has been slipping for some time now but tonight was the absolute worst. I'm reeling from it. I remember 5 or 6 years ago when the food was hot and delicious and generous and well made and presented. NOW it's COLD and made by angry aggressive uncaring people who would so obviously rather be somewhere else. GET RID OF THEM. Employ people who actually care about the job and have great.. no actually, exceptional customer service. Unfortunately GUZMAN Y GOMEZ King William St has become a sad joke and shadow of its former self from early glory days when the chips were Hot and actually had.. wait for it.. flavour and seasoning on them. WOW. How you have fallen. Seriously considering never going again tbh and to think I live at Glenelg and there's one opening near me soon. It Better be DAMN IMPRESSIVE I swear. Not Happy. Your long-standing repeat loyal customers deserve sOOO much more. Will be making an absolute formal complaint to your management as well but geez c'mon! This can't be the only one. Get. It. Together. Came Sunday night before close, exhausted from working, wanted to grab some quick takeaway nacho fries, burrito meal w/ drinks. Checked my meal before leaving only to realise fries were cold, like taken of the fridge kinda cold, asked them to remake it, they said "we don't have any more", so I asked to exchange it for other food, employee said "we can't", so I asked what can you do? "I can ONLY give u a SMALL drink". They didnt want to replace their mistake with any food. Why would I want a drink, when I already had some? So I left with my food to find a seat outside to eat, I was STARVING, only to be met with DISGUST and DISAPPOINTMENT 🤢. EVERYTHING WAS FREEZING COLD. All the food! The burrito? Cold beef and rice inside, not to mention that's all there was in it. Where was the tomato, guac, corn, cheese, onion ect? The nachos fries? Disgustingly COLD beef, fries, not even the full portion. Not to mention I didn't even want minced beef in my food. I asked for chicken. It seemed as though the employees intentionally served me cold food. They were too lazy to put it on the stove or to even microwave it AT LEAST. Remember how I called them out on the cold fries? Yeah. They didnt even care to mention that everything else they put in there was cold too. They just couldn't care less. Serving cold beef is a FOOD HEALTH AND SAFTEY RISK! I will be messaging the health and safety management as well as Guzman y Gomez office myself. I can't believe this restaurant would employ such disrespectful employees. I was a customer here for YEARS never eating here again, sick of all the terrible service. This wasn't the first time something like this happened except I just gave this place too many chance but this time it was the last. Thanks for finally making me give up...
