A family owned and operated business that has been in the trade for many years. Not only is this family open and welcoming, you can tell by the produce they use is absolutely garden fresh. Today I ordered a hamburger with the lot, and two dim sims with chicken salt. Well priced and fantastically fresh. Not greasy and limp, like a puffed out hipster on his fixie to buy a $30 cheeseburger at the hip burger joint. Their chickens always look well tanned and inviting and the salad bar is always brimming with a great selection of regular favourites. The egg salad is a real winner. If you're in Hutt Street, this is the place to go for a quality, well priced lunch or dinner.

Really wasn't expecting this quality of food for this price. My GF and I had a delicious time splitting a large salad (which they let us mix and match to our desire with seafood salad, tabouli, pickled beets, and more) and a 1/2 chicken hot pack, which came with a seasoned 1/2 roasted chicken, tons of chips, peas, and a very savoury gravy. All of that, with ginger beer and a smoothie, for just over $30? Ridiculous!!! We decided to eat outside at one of their round sidewalk tables, and the nice lady brought us proper cutlery instead of plastic and we chatted about the Hutt Street "soundtrack".
