Proof Bar — Restaurant in Adelaide

After a lunch at another restaurant with a friend we found this bar initially I loved it the atmosphere and vibe was inviting... One of the owners serving us had a great sense of humour and very personable after he finished shift the bar began to fill with evening patrons and the vibe continued to impress until the next day I checked my card purchases (I don't carry cash) to find that I had transactions that I was charged double for, so disappointing what a way to spoil my point of view of what was a lovely bar... I would still recommend this bar as the actions of one person should not counteract on the others but watch what you are being charged for, I wouldn't do open tab and check value before tapping...

Absolute number one wine bar in Adelaide for us. This is always our go to on date night in the city. The staff are great, they always have something interesting on the drinks menu, and there is always a Diplimatico rum available to round out the night. There is an upstairs area which has much more capacity than downstairs, but we prefer the downstairs area for the vibe. We don't always eat here, but the toasties are...

Really cool bar down an alleyway in Adelaide CBD. Moreso offering/specialising in wine over cocktails, however, both cocktails ordered were still delicious and as expected. I was snacky so ordered the truffled mushroom toastie and OMGEE it was worth the wait - probs my favourite part of the whole experience tbh.
