The Gallery — Restaurant in Adelaide

When it came to a wedding reception, I wanted something in the city but would still cater to a sit down meal. From the moment I enquired with The Gallery, Alex was amazing. He replies so fast that sometimes I felt bad I would email on a Sunday as he would be replying to me straight away! He was so helpful with every question I had and organised our night in the lead up perfectly, with no stress! I was already so happy with my choice to have our reception at The Gallery but I couldn’t have imagined it would have exceeded my hopes on the night! James the manager of the event on the night was the nicest person, who would check in throughout the night to make sure my night and the grooms night was everything we wanted. He was just so amazing, everyone was commenting on how great he was. The food was perfect, we did alternate drop of Chicken and Beef and so many guests said it was the best chicken they had ever had! The beef was also cooked perfectly! The wait staff were fantastic as well, topping up drinks and serving people promptly! The venue size is perfect for a sit down of around 85 like we had, with a great size dance floor! The Gallery truly made our wedding reception perfect and I highly recommend this venue to anyone for their events!

We also had pre-wedding drinks on the rooftop on the Friday night with about 25 guests and it was the perfect location to meet our interstate guests! Alice and the team upstairs looked after us with a great area! It’s a great atmosphere on the rooftop on a Friday night!

We had our wedding reception here and honestly can’t thank the Gallery and their staff enough. Special thank you to Alex and James for all the organising, support, assistance, cooperation and for helping everything run smoothly! Absolutely amazing staff- can’t rate highly enough. The venue was fantastic and worked perfectly- genuinely don’t have enough works to explain how wonderful it turned out.

Alex and the event team were so flexible and cooperative with my ideas and need and wishes and just made it so special for me. The whole process was stress free - and I literally never had to wait for a response. I would ask a question one day and it would be answered within few hours (or the next morning). Honestly so helpful when wedding planning. The options are so helpful for budget etc/ different bar tab/ drink package options and food etc.

Everyone was so helpful on the night, James took care of everything and even helped fill in the gaps that we forgot (e.g music when guests were arriving, schedules, bar tab top ups and helped us with all our mics and set up etc. my mum raves about James and the other staff!

The food was perfect, sound was perfect and the venue had everything we needed and more. Thank you all so much for everything, you made our night so memorable and special and we will cherish it...

Where to even begin! I recently had my 21st at The Gallery and I cannot be any more thankful for having an amazing time. From the organisation, the venue and the staff …. Absolutely phenomenal. Behind the scenes, it was a pleasure working with Alex who helped me with all the big and small things. The response time was unbeatable, and the level of service was exceptional. To host an event, Alex really placed a huge amount of effort to cater to my needs, answering all queries and developing suggestions to make the night even more successful! A big shoutout to James that night. He is the type of manager that goes beyond measures to ensure your comfort is placed first and that you have an enjoyable time at the event. I am so thankful for his leadership skills and initiative to check not only with my parents and my cousin, but myself, throughout the whole night. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally organised, and I am forever grateful for his hospitality and kindness. Last but not least, I am so grateful for the team that served the food and drinks, they were all so hospitable, sparking small conversations with myself and guests to ensure that they are all accommodated. Beyond words, I will definitely come back to host an event at The Gallery...
