Today is Easter long weekend, we went to this restaurant because it’s packed thinking it might be good. But it’s the start of the nightmare. I’m vegetarian so ordered the vegan pho on the menu. We went to order at the counter then the girl walked back with my friend and said sorry there’s no vegan broth so I can choose laksa or Tom yum soup noodle so I choose Tom yum vegan soup noodle. Then few minutes later one young waiter came to our table said sorry there’s no vegan broth so we cannot make those soup noodle so I had to choose again for what I want. Then I choose spring roll vermicelli instead. So I change my choice 3 times tonight. And after 45-50mins wait, finally we got our dishes. They brought tofu vermicelli for me and because it’s too long I almost forgot what I ordered. It’s spring roll and then we went to tell them they said yes yes it’s wrong we are making it again now. We just like… when the fxxx? They kept saying they are sorry it’s really busy night and offer us free drinks. I just like ok maybe other times you are good but today I really have to say sorry I totally can’t accept the service and won’t come back again definitely and won’t...
Read moreOhh wow... 1st time here and definately will be back for more. We ordered spring rolls, cold rolls, pho noodles with beef, tendon and tripe and the dried wonton noodles.....Wow, everything was so fresh and tasted delicious.... Seriously the best Vietnamese restaurant I have been too... The atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable, very clean. Now, the owners, Quang , Tammy and their son, are so friendly and professional. Quang even spared some of his busy time to explain the differences in some of their foods. Another thing is, he has carefully planned the menu to perfection to cater for customers from all walks of life, meat eaters, vegans, halal, hindus... So now everyone no matter what your preferences are, give Salt And Pepper in Norwood a try, as they care for everyone's dietary needs, which is a rare find in Adelaide... Thankyou Quang and Tammy, my Parents and me really enjoyed every thing you prepared for us today.. See you...
Read moreThe man who used to own this store, about 8 months ago, made unbelievable food. You could taste the love he would put in the food, this used to be hands down the best place to eat! Would of given it a 100 Star rating if I could! I would rave about this place to all my friends and family! Now there’s a new owner, the vibe was nice but the food quality is no where near as good as what it used to be. The salt and pepper squid has a thick layer of batter around it (makes me think they’re trying to fill out the plate), the onions and capsicum, you get as topping, wasn’t even cooked properly. The taste of the pho is no where near as good as what it used to be! I paid 50c extra for ‘super broth’ and it tasted weaker then what I’d usually get! This to me now is just another average Pho place, I don’t think I’ll be coming back again. Which is really sad, just another great food place...
