Storehouse Flinders East — Restaurant in Adelaide

We recently took advantage of the Fringe Special for $49 per person which was great value and delicious. We were able to choose a two course dinner with a complimentary glass of wine from The Lane Vineyard included. My husband and I shared a generous entree serve of Babaganoush which was a beautiful combination of flavours. My husband loved his Roasted Chicken Supreme with cannellini bean puree and I thoroughly enjoyed the Gnocchi dish, the sauce was divine. We shared the cheese platter from the dessert menu which had three generous serves of cheese. The restaurant is a short walk from The Fringe and a nice quiet environment to catch up with friends. The staff are super friendly and by chance we were able to chat to the chef as we were leaving, he has worked in Michelin restaurants overseas and it is reflected in the quality and freshness...

The best hotel breakfast I’ve had!

Beautiful flavours and generous portion sizes. The chef is accomodating to dietaries and presents the food beautifully.

Great coffee and chai, would be good to add matcha to the menu.

Really lovely service, waiters are great and accomodating. Room service is 10/10 very fast service, and presented beautifully.

Green goddess salad: huge portion, mostly vege which is perfect (not all quinoa) beautifully cooked kale and broccolini. I added smoked salmon onto mine. Lots of flavour for a salad!

Smashed avo: beetroot hummus dukkah is amazing, lots of flavours and nicely fried halloumi. Would be better if avo was just a real 1/2 avo, not a fan of the premix

Granola: quite nice if you like yoghurt bowls. Flavourful granola. I think it was Greek yogurt. A lot of yoghurt. Tasty...

The exhaust fan is just too loud. I sat down and needed to go and ask for table water. For the food, I ordered a steak which I can only finish half of it as it’s chewy and salty. The Barrata and toast is again very very salty and I actually had a headache. The linguine is actually fine and we managed to finish the food. The staff is easy to communicate and they offered me free dessert after they proactively asked me about the food. This is a mixed feeling. A bit disappointing for a birthday celebration! Really do not recommend for any special occasions, but even the atmosphere is too noisy for a...
