Grill'd Burgers - Pakington Street — Restaurant in Barwon South West

After hearing the GRILLE’D hamburger chain, were going vegan yesterday, yes, no meat at all in any sales, and better still, were using the “Beyond Beef” hamburgers. Read so much about them in the US and how good they were, I choofed off to Grille’d Hamburgers to get myself a Beyond Beef bacon burger. 26ks from where I lived.

SHOCK HORROR, ONE HAMBURGER WITH BEETROOT $17!!!

Yes it did taste nice, but, $17? For any big meat eaters trying to do the right thing, well, they’ll be heading back to Mackas, where they can get two double quarter pounders for $17. For me it was a treat and one I’ll rarely have again at that price. I think I can get contentedly full on $17 worth of king prawns or the prawn and smoked salmon sushi I can make for two for the same price, yes it is homemade, or if I’m very naughty, I’ll head back to Mackas for (1) double quarter pounder.

Staff were fantastic, amenity and environment was great and Beyond Beef Burgers are the Go.

Absolutely freshly made. I am so impressed with the meals that they offer, especially ‘choose your own bun’. Located in a great space, not too busy and everything is located easily. Me and my siblings ordered 3 kids meals (cheeseburger mini, with chips and a kids juice box.) Was perfectly enough even for a 13 year old. There were so much variety’s of different snacks and meals, it is idle expensive but not too expensive. Pick your own seat is a good option, both back and front / outside have good seat plans and plenty of space. After you order the waiting time does take a few minutes but definitely not pass 20. Food comes in great condition, staff and workers are very kind and helpful when needed. Donations for support are at the entrance, once and again beautifully made. Not a great experience, we went about 330/4pm on a Friday afternoon and were the only people there (there was 3 of us). Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. What was disappointing was how long it took for our food to arrive, yes there was a couple people come in to pick up orders (uber eats and take away- but only a couple) eventually we got our burgers, I had the baa baa which was really really nice even though a little cold, but I did order and pay for pickles as extra and it didn't come with them. Our burgers came out without our chips and the staff member said they'd burnt them so they were cooking more, the fresh batch seemed to take a long time as well and were on the border of over done/burnt as well.
