Heard that there was a little gem tucked away along the beautiful coastline of Wynnum so took this opportunity to take my work mates there for our Xmas function. The location was superb right along the coastline. Adelita was only 100 metres away from the water of the beautiful Moreton Bay. There is ample parking space along the street and the park just across the road. With its open design dining and bar space, the sea breeze really helped with cooling down the summer Brisbane weather. We tried out the degustation menu and it definitely was a wise choice indeed. From the entree through to the last desert, we really indulged fully on every plate that was presented from the chef. The well balanced flavour flowed throughout the menu and it was definitely a surprising pleasant night. Many guests commented on the relaxed and cozy surroundings and would definitely come back for a second visit as this is a first visit for most of us. Big shoutout to Chris and the team who was very accommodating prior to our night and on the night. Service was superb from the team and we could not pick out any negatives.

Wynnum’s best-kept secret — a coastal gem that quietly rivals Brisbane’s top fine-dining destinations. The wine list is exceptional, curated with precision and depth: French and European standouts sit effortlessly alongside beloved Australian and New Zealand classics. Service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. The atmosphere invites you to unwind, with serene views stretching over the park and out to Moreton Bay. What truly elevated the experience, however, were the flavour pairings. The oysters, delicately balanced with pear and ginger, offered an inspired contrast of sweetness and punch — an unforgettable harmony of texture and taste. The scallops, kissed with Koji butter and finished gratin-style, were nothing short of sublime. A near-perfect lunch — sophisticated, relaxed, and deeply satisfying. A dining experience that deserves to be discovered. Do yourself a favour and go.

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon experience at Adelita. Friendly and professional staff. We opted to shared a few snack plates as a couple as opposed to ordering mains and everything was beautiful presented and delicious and we left feeling very full. Adelita is the type of wine bar/restaurant you'd expect to find in the CBD or inner suburbs with class and style. Cocktails were delicious. It's leaning more towards a fine dining experience so it is more pricey compared to other local restaurants but the food is unlike your typical restaurant in the area. If you like a bit of class without pretentious, head to Adelita!

As a couple we love trying new foodie spots in Brisbane but it has become VERY hard to go past Adelita Wine Bar in Wynnum if we’re going out. Adelita has become our go-to spot, and after five visits, I can confidently say it’s nothing short of exceptional every single time. From the cozy yet stylish atmosphere to the incredible attention to detail, Adelita feels like a special little haven right in the best spot in Wynnum.

All of the staff are fantastic, but Chris, the owner, is an absolute standout. His knowledge and passion for food and wine shine through in everything he does, and his personal touch makes every visit feel like more than just a meal. The wine flight is an absolute must - thoughtful but unpretentious, we have loved every drop and it takes the experience from dinner out to a really exciting date night that we look forward to every time.

And then there’s the food. The kitchen nails it on every dish. This is the only place I’ve ever been that can truly improve a fresh natural oyster. The menu changes seasonally, but the wagyu (in all its forms) is always superb, as is the current gnocchi offering. Order the degustation, it’s excellent value and the desserts definitely are not to be skipped. If you’re worried about indulging yourself, you’re in the perfect spot for a gorgeous afternoon or evening walk!

Consistency is so important to making a venue truly great and after five visits, we haven’t had a single moment of disappointment—only consistently wonderful experiences. Adelita is the kind of place you can’t help but recommend to everyone you know. Wynnum is lucky to have a gem like this, and we can’t wait to go back again - and again!

I am a little sad that Adelita no longer offers brunch - we took our kids with us and couldn’t have felt more welcome and looked after. Nothing was too difficult, even with a fussy and uncoordinated toddler. Breakfast was a knockout meal, but I’m very excited to see what the renewed focus on lunch and...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Adelita Wine Bar in Wynnum, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with Hamptons vibes, a cool breeze and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home.

The highlight of my experience at Adelita Wine Bar was undoubtedly the food. The menu offered a delightful range of options, all of which were expertly prepared and bursting with flavour. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and made with the freshest ingredients. From succulent seafood to mouthwatering meats, every bite was a taste sensation.

To complement the exquisite food, Adelita Wine Bar boasts an impressive selection of wines. Whether you are a connoisseur or simply enjoy a good glass of wine, the knowledgeable staff at Adelita will guide you through their well thought out wine list. Their expertise and passion for wine truly shine through, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

The location of Adelita Wine Bar is another aspect that adds to its charm. Situated in a quiet corner of Wynnum, it is a hidden gem overlooking the ocean. The serene view creates a tranquil ambiance, perfect for a relaxing afternoon with friends or a romantic date night.

However, what truly set Adelita Wine Bar apart was the exceptional service provided by Chris and Ryan. These two charming individuals went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt welcome and attended to. Their knowledge about the menu and wine pairings was impressive, and their passion for their craft was contagious. Their warm and friendly personalities made the entire experience even more memorable.

In conclusion, Adelita Wine Bar in Wynnum is a true culinary gem. With its excellent food, clever wine selection, picturesque location, and outstanding service from hosts Chris and Ryan, it is a place that must be experienced. I cannot wait to revisit this hidden treasure with gusto and introduce more friends to...

Got there ahead of booking and seated promptly, Wine list should have been presented with a paramedic. Ludicrously inflated prices, it’s Wynnum not Chiltern Firehouse in London. The view is of a muddy tidal flat not the Eiffel Tower. Then came the menu limited heavy on fish. I had put in the booking I am allergic to seafood waiter asked three times if the allergy needed an epi pen In other words if it comes into contact with seafood you’re not going to die are you? No, but you’ll be cleaning puke for a week Fish vegetables or bread for “small things” so it was bread Then they dropped the balll BIGTIME Ordered the steak VERY well done Came out oozing blood Both my wife’s and my steaks were virtually raw Send back Brought back less than 5 minutes later still mooing COOK IT Came back middle pieces still pink so ate the outside pieces took the rest home to the dogs Tidy serve Asked for feedback Chef is incapable of cooking a steak he needs to go back to where he trained $44 for a tiny piece of steak, half of which couldn’t be eaten Overpriced food and wine, no chicken option, tasteless sauce with the steak Wife’s salad was bland and tasteless Great venue despite the mud flats but way overpriced and shockingly bad food Went home and made dinner…… Table next to us had a seafood dish that made us both hold our nose and almost heave it stunk I’m not a seafood eater but this smelt like boiled kippers it was vile Don’t go here unless you want to pay exorbitant prices for average wine and way below...
