I’m Indian so I know the food tastes like, I really don’t what types of food they selling disgusting, rubbish even they selling frozen naans🤮🤮🤮🤮. I promise never recommended this 🤮. Too expensive And additionally when I call straight to restaurants and they told me if you know how to cook come and make curry I'm just telling truth behind this all I don't have any other intention or any personal issues with this restaurants, but this things need to inspect before service 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Hands down the worst meal I have ever eaten. I’ve tried chicken tikka Masala at numerous Indian restaurants over the last 30-40 years & I’ve never received 1 in a pink/brown colour. Also very weird with white sticky rice as opposed to the normal pilau rice you get at every other Indian restaurant. Had to throw it away & order another meal from a different Indian restaurant. I just hope I’m not up all night being sick

All curries are gf! Friendly staff. Ordered butter chicken and Rogan Josh. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The sauces were awesome. They have the options of mild, hot, very hot, and Indian Hot. We chose Very hot and they were nice and spicy. So if you like spice, go for Indian Hot. That's next level. Their rice is complimentary and happily give you more rice should you request more for free. Yay

We have been visiting this restaurant on and off for the past 10+ years and always had an enjoyable night until last night. Now in fairness i know the young lady working the counter was new and working her first shift but the problem stemmed all the way back into the kitchen.

Firstly we arrived grabbed a table and the lights in the room were exceptionally dim, There was a nice breeze blowing in the front door but with it came a mozzie invasion from the mangroves across the road. We ordered our entree, mains and sides and a drink each. Another table arrived about 10-15mins after us they ordered as well. There drinks arrived almost instantaneously where we had to ask where ours were after almost 20 minutes. At this time 2 of 3 drinks were delivered and we then had to follow up the 3rd drink.

Entrees arrived and they were fine. Our mains half of them were delivered to the other table who proceeded to taste and start eating before being notified they were not what they had ordered. No apologies were made to our table although the other table was visited by the chef who proceeded to apologise profusely to them. Still no apology at all to us and another 10-15 mins goes past before our mains are recooked and delivered meanwhile the table who were given our order received their order. By the time our meals arrived still not the complete order we had to follow up one dish which took an additional 5 mins before it arrived. By this time the mozzie bites had gotten so bad we had to ask for one of the meals to be made into takeaway.

We went to pay the bill and was still charged full price even though we are pretty sure the other table were offered some extras or discounts. Still not a single apology. This was the worst experience we have had at this venue and after 10+ years of patronage I would...

We went to Bengal Curry House on a Saturday eve . The parking was easy and it is in a good spot near the water at Wynnum It is quite a large restaurant with a few different areas to sit inside or outside We sat inside one of the bay windows where we could catch glimpses of the nearby water . The service was prompt and friendly and there was Indian music playing which made it feel more authentic . It is BYO and we were offered an ice bucket and some wine glasses as soon as we took out our bottles of wine . We were also offered a couple of home made snacks to try for free as we were waiting to order which was a nice touch . Our order was taken and our starters were brought out pretty quickly followed by our mains . The standard of the curries were on the whole good I am vegetarian and was a little disappointed that there was no fish curry option on the menu. I opted for a prawn bhoona curry Unfortunately the prawns were barely cooked and tasted almost ‘gristly ‘ and they were in a watery sauce . I feel that I chose the wrong dish So I would like to go back sometime and try something else . Our table of four also chose a korma , a bhoona and a madras . Everyone else enjoyed their meal . The portion size and price was fair and on the whole the meal tasted authentic . We are from the UK so our curry standards and expectations are extremely high But I would say that the overall experience at The Bengal Curry House was a good one and we will go and eat...

This has been my favourite curry place for years, I'd think about it for days leading up to getting the chance to visit because it's the only place I know that has these particular flavours that I love. Tonight for an anniversary I visited and we experienced a shameful display of hospitality.

Dirty restaurant. Very young inexperienced wait staff, out of their depth, I felt bad for those boys. The numerous complaints that they kept shouldering from the waiting patrons with no way handle them. The orders, takeaway and dine in, were so late that people were leaving without their food. We ourselves waited over an hour for only two meals.

The food was still the same recipe, but it wasn't right. I eat here a few times a year and it is pretty consistent, this was wrong. (I still ate every bit, love those flavours)

We tried to raise our concerns but the children doing their best as wait-staff were not equipped to handle the situation

The restaurant and kitchen were out of control.

Close the restaurant and just do takeaway if you don't care about the diners experience.

My old review My absolute favourite Indian cuisine. A unique flavour that Is...
