I have travelled long and far across Brisbane sampling its expanses of Banh Miโs. I also backpacked Vietnam for a month last year and almost strictly ate Banh Miโs. Last week I popped back into Bahn Mee on Oxford St after not being in the area for a min to grab my standard crackling pork Banh Mi. No word of a lie, it was the best Banh Mi of my life (it beat every Banh Mi Iโve had prior in Vietnam and Brisbane).
I donโt know what theyโve done differently to exceed their previous high standard of Banh Mi, but theyโre only getting better. This placeโs quality has never dropped below a super high benchmark.

Today we tried the pork mince spring rolls and the crispy roast pork banh mi and they were terrific. The spring rolls were delicious and porky and the baguette was super crusty, filled with lightly pickled carrot, cucumber, fresh coriander, meat and plenty of chilli. It's definitely a contender for Brisbane's best banh mi but it's a little more expensive than the other banh mi options...

The food was full of flavour and took me on a delicious culinary journey. The pork Banh Mi was a perfect balance of savory and tangy flavours with lots of filling while the spring rolls were crispy and flavourful. The grilled chicken rice paper rolls were also a refreshing addition to the meal with a delicate flavour. I loved it so much that I had to go back for more...
