A Wonderland of Taste at Old Mr. Rabbit - A Review from Wonderland's Most Curious Guest!
Ladies and gentlemen, Wonderland just got a little more whimsical, thanks to the enchanting charm of Old Mr. Rabbit! 🐰
From the moment I hopped through the door, I knew I was in for a lovely experience. The ambiance of this place is like falling down the rabbit hole itself - cozy and inviting.
First things first, the drinks! Oh, what beautifully crafted concoctions they serve at Old Mr. Rabbit! My Margarita arrived with a flourish, complete with a salted rim that sparkled like the Mad Hatter's top hat. Each sip was like a journey down a rabbit tunnel, filled with unexpected twists and delightful surprises. Now, let's talk about the menu! It's like the Caterpillar's hookah dreams came to life. There are options for every kind of eater. The Ploughman's board was our choice for the night, and it was the perfect shareable delight! As I savored my cheese, the live music began, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the evening. It was as if the White Rabbit himself was leading the band, keeping time with his pocket watch. But it wasn't just the food and drinks that made this experience so nice. The staff at Old Mr. Rabbit were like the friendliest characters from Wonderland, always wearing a smile as wide as the Red Queen's rose bushes. Now, about that last Margarita - I knew I shouldn't have had it, but who could resist the siren call of such a delectable elixir? Just like Alice with that "Drink Me" bottle, I found myself falling deeper into the rabbit hole with each sip. In conclusion, Old Mr. Rabbit is a delightful escape from the ordinary. Whether you're a curious adventurer or a seasoned tea drinker, this place has something to make you grin wider than a Cheshire Cat. So, my dear friends, do yourselves a favor and pay a visit to Old Mr. Rabbit. But heed my advice - be careful with that last...
Read moreCame here for dinner and ended up getting the fish + chips. The fish came out very oily (I understand that when fish is fresh out of the fryer you may see the oil, but the oil was on the fish for the duration of my meal) and the chips came out burnt/crunchy (they were the same colour as the table i was sat at, an oak colour). not to mention, the 2 pieces of fish looked huge when they came out, but i was disappointed when i cut them open to see that HALF of it was batter and the rest was the fish itself.
the other food was also average in taste and were average/below average portions, which you don’t really want when spending around $40/per person, you’d want the portions AND the quality of food to satiate you.
I then proceeded to ask the waitress for some chilli sauce to come with my meal, expecting her to bring a bottle of chilli sauce as you would do ketchup/barbecue sauce, but instead she told us it would be $4-$5. that isn’t for a bottle of sauce, but for a SINGLE serving of it. since when did 2 drops of tabasco sauce cost $4-$5?
i understand that setting the price of items is out of the waitresses hands and i only hope you don’t treat your employees wages as cheaply as you do...

Visited over the weekend, asked the bartender for an Aperol spritz, when I tasted it, I informed her that I could not taste the Aperol, the soda water was overpowering, she said if I wanted more Aperol, she would have to charge me. I then said that it wasn’t about wanting more alcohol but about the ratios, I decided to leave it alone.
After about two sips, I knew that I wasn’t enjoying the drink so I returned to the bar and asked another bar tender if I could get a glass of prosecco instead as I couldn’t drink the spritz, they decided to ask the original bar tender what had happened, she then came over and said, “ like I said, I can add an extra shot of Aperol but I’ll have to charge you” to which I responded again stating that it’s about the ratios and not just adding an extra shot of Aperol. I said, I’ll just have a Prosecco and I was charged for that as well. So, I paid for a spritz that I didn’t drink and I also paid for the Prosecco after that. I decided to give the bar tenders an opportunity to rectify this but they did not so that was...
