I left with a feeling of having been ripped off. Distracted front of the house staff, feels like they have no idea what they're doing or what to prioritize. Wait staff are polite but not efficient at all. I almost got up and left after they forgot about us and left us waiting more than 20 minutes without taking our order, in an almost empty restaurant at off-peak time. A gentleman sitting right next to us got up and hunted a waitress through the dining room to put his order in. When the order finally came (pretty fast after the order was ringed in, so the back of the house is indeed efficient), the food was meh. The fried calamari were the only well executed dish. The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was tasty but the chicken was dry and the "super food bowl" is an absolute joke and a rip-off. It is simply an overpriced salad. A mixed green salad with shaved carrots (not freshly shaved, mind you, but the dry pre-shaved kind, straight from a bag), one preserved artichoke (once again , not a fresh artichoke, but a factory-produced one}, some onion, some canned corn and and half an avocado. 22$ for a simple salad. The place is cute and the music is nice but food and...

There were 9 of us for Sunday brunch. We had to wait a bit while our table was set up, even tho' we had booked. Apparently, they had given our set-up table to someone else (we were dead on time). Service was okay; just not very super friendly. We had various coffees, which were fine. We ate corn fritters with added halloumi (hubby said they were really tasty), and potato gems Benny, one with bacon and one with smoked salmon (they were out of gems so we had a rosti, which was delicious - crispy outside, tender inside). We had a chicken burger and a passionfruit cheesecake - great texture and flavour said the eaters of said cheesecake. And there was calamari which looked generous and was good value. Also French toast which comes with bacon; and a serve without bacon, and the 9th dish? - maybe another Benny. Anyway, we all had a lovely time in this large, airy, light space (I loved that the next table had their pretty pooch with them). Our friend finally decided to have the 18 year old Scotch (yes at lunchtime), but sadly they didn't have any. Our meals were fine, and we had fun. Would...

This place is perfect for casual catch ups, delicious food, paired with a great wine & beer menu and amazing cocktails. You’ll love it!

We came for lunch with a party of 5 (including a 3yo). The manager, Chris was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff who served us were fantastic and were very attentive. Our daughter was given paper and pencils and loved looking at the greenery on the walls and people-while we all ate.

The food was so enjoyable. The chef (French influence I think) has created such a great menu. We had a bunch of share plates including the Spiced Crispy Calamari, Antipasto Board, Saganaki, Tarte Flambee Pizza (which I believe translates to a ‘cream pizza’ or something, but trust me - try it! It’s delicious!!!!! We also had the truffle arancini which I literally walked up to the chef after our meal and thanked him for.

I really like what the Owner’s/Manger’s/chef’s have created. I look forward to visiting again when we’re next...

We have heard this place is great , and all I can say is, it is!!! my girlfriend and I walked past during the evening and thought we would pop in on a lazy Tuesday night. The service was lovely, and the food was great. It is amazing value for money as well. Being a Newstead local, most things in the area quite expensive however this was all priced very reasonably. The lobster roll was delicious, the chicken palmy was excellent, the lamb was good. The red wine just was a little bit rich and overpowering however it was still quite good. We enjoyed a very well priced bottle of Chardonnay. Service was very kind and lovely, I can definitely recommend this place. If you’re a local this is a great asset to have in the area.

The third time, I went for dinner with friends. The service was really good. The place was busy, there was live music and a nice vibe. Food came out quickly, and it was a great restaurant for a casual catch-up and a quick bite to eat. The duck was lovely! Second time visiting for brunch and enjoyed the food and service again. The place seems to be doing very well, which is great to see. 1st time visiting - We met friends for brunch. The staff were good. The food was delicious and the overall experience was good. I felt like a Bellini and even though it wasn't on their menu they were more than happy to make it. I had the corn fritters which was delicious. I highly recommend it I'll be happy to go back again.
