Mother's Day dinner earlier this month included this takeaway set meal for 2 from C Cafe: $46.80 for 2 roast meats, 2 dishes, a soup, and rice. Our choices were: * roast duck * steamed chicken * Peking style pork ribs * tender beef brisket hot pot Nice flavours on all the food and the beef dish included a fair few pieces of tendon which my parents appreciated. The portion of roast meats was a bit small, though I guess it's effectively a half and half serve. Overall definitely plenty of food for 2 people - probably could stretch it over 2 meals with some added rice. There was a supposed to be a 10% discount for spending over $30 but I was given 2 free drinks instead of the discount. I hadn't really paid much attention to this shop, which took over the Café Mi space about a year ago. I saw it recommended in a FB group I've recently joined to thought I'd check it out. They're now open for dine in so I'll look to visit in person at some point.

If you have been to the cinemas in @sunnybankplaza you probably would’ve seen @ccafebne on your left hand side. Next time you’re there, make sure to go check them out because you’re missing out on some amazing fusion dishes inspired by many different cuisines around the world! 😍 Here’s what we tried at C Cafe! 📷: • Sizzling steak in garlic • Spam and fried egg noodle • Trolley Noodle • Baked pork chop rice • Grilled eel and egg fried rice • BBQ roast duck & pork • Mongolian beef • Seafood bean curd hotpot • Peanut butter French toast As you can see, even though C Cafe is a Hong Kong style restaurant, their menu extends to many different cuisines. The food looks and tastes great, especially at the price tag! The serving sizes were great too! 💯 My personal favourites were the Mongolian beef, the steak and the peanut butter French toast 😍 Like I said earlier, go check them out next time! Now you’ve seen what you’re missing out on! 🙌

I know this place can be a hit and miss, and you don’t expect to get great service here, but they do a few great dishes here which makes me return again and again to this restaurant. The dishes I’d recommend are their char siu ( bbq pork) stir fry noodles( highly recommend dry noodles over soup noodles), wontons, beef brisket dry noodles. Their charsiu resembles the ones in Hong Kong the most and I can’t find that anywhere else in Brisbane . Their beef brisket cut is also close to what I have in HK. I love how they add loads of veggies in each dish too. Also recommend their Hong Kong milk tea , and iced Ovaltine!!! 推介叉燒撈麵,牛腩撈麵 熱奶茶唔錯

I ordered seafood soup, and halfway through eating the seafood, I started on the vegetables and found a big caterpillar in my food. It was absolutely awful and disgusting. I immediately took it back but completely lost my appetite. It’s unacceptable.

To make things worse, the food was ready in just three minutes after we ordered, which made it seem like they rushed it without properly cleaning the vegetables.

The staff were also unprofessional and lacked manners. One of the girls was standing on her phone in front of customers, and when I tried to get her attention, she briefly looked and then quickly looked away. Meanwhile, the guy preparing the food was wearing AirPods and staring at his phone.

The entire experience was extremely disappointing. I would never recommend this place to anyone definitely my first...
