My fiancĂ© ordered the iced strawberry latte and when it arrived it was a glass of milk with strawberry puree at the bottom, took it back to the counter and was told that it âdoesnât come with coffeeâ and if he wanted coffee in it thatâs an extra 80c. This drink was also I believe $8.90 on the menu. They added coffee in it and brought it back. I went to the counter to ask them to explain to me why a latte does not come with coffee to which I was told âthe definition of latte means milkâ and was then argued with multiple times when discussing that I understand the translation but a latte is espresso with milk the same way a mocha is espresso and chocolate, etc, even looking at the picture advertised at the counter that is clearly not just milk. I was then told with a lot of attitude that âthe shot of coffee is only 80c anywayâ. I was told that if you want coffee in it you would have to ask for a âcaffe latteâ which it is not listed as. He has also had this drink twice before at the same location and they both came with coffee without having to specify that. I was argued with multiple times after having to pay extra for coffee to be put in a latte before leaving. The food was otherwise good but the service from the baristas was appalling.    Read moreFood is inconsistent. Sit down was mostly good. Noted one of the cooks has recently left to go elsewhere. Take away for the same meals is terrible. Drinks service is slow. Orders are often now wrong. Staff are appalling. They donât care, they pretend not to understand, they ignore customers who keep them employed, they get orders wrong, donât apologise even and are just outright rude. We have been regulars here until recently. Your staff is what will sink you. I hope your management / owners read this page. I queried last weekend why my chips were burnt to a crisp. Staff at the counter, the usual girls, didnât care. This is not good enough. Apologise atleast. Offer to replace them. Do something. Anything. Customer service people. Itâs called service for a reason. We pay your wages and without customers there will be no Cafe Cherry Beans. Do your jobs. $15.50 for a sandwich and chips. People are paying a premium so they expect premium. You are not delivering. Take this feedback and use it to improve. Iâd hope to see a response to this...
   Read moreI ordered Ultimate Breakfast, told the cashier no Bacon, my sister and said it at the same time, and we went and kept on ordering, our total around $60 something. The food comes, and I asked her whatâs is this sausage looking like? She takes the plate and goes back, and says it is bacon, I said to her I said I didnât want bacon, she says that this isnât the same thing, I told if she could at least ask to have the single poached egg, to be recooked as the bacon oil have already leaked on it, and it would be a sin eating. She took the plate and went back, and instead of the chef says anything he told her itâs not our problem, and all she offer was we can change the plate, too be honest, I really hated the service no one even thought to apologise or even come later, I ended up asking them to throw it as I can not eat it, and they did take it and never came back. I am really disappointed with service. Their coffee still tasted good.
