Was wow'ed by the layout and decor of the Bubble Tea shop. The smell of tea was what attracted us first. We got the most popular Oolong tea with evaporated milk and added on taro pearls for 6.90. Bubble Tea in Australia is so expensive when compared to the ones in Singapore. The first sip hit us with a wave of freshly brewed Oolong goodness. We ordered 100% sugar level drink and my oh my.... it wasn't diabetes in a cup like all the other Australian BBT. The milk tho was too thin. The perfect kind of bubble tea is rich and silky smooth (velvet texture from the right amount of milk) not watery and thin like drain water. The taro pearls were just right. Chewy and not overly sweet. Some pearls have this chemical (masking tape) taste in it. But these pearls are just so good it tastes like mini "tang yuan" (its a type of glutinous rice ball that we eat during chinese new year) Its 4 stars, cus the best bubble tea is KOI and they can be found in Singapore. I'll buy from Come Buy Tea again till I can find another BBT shop that has a closer taste profile to KOI's.

I used to be a big fan of QQ milk tea from the Comebuy shop in city many years ago and somehow it closed permanently. First time I come to this shop, could be the new owner as all items in the menu are completely new. I ordered the best seller item 1 as suggested in their menu. The taste is ok, nothing special, definitely pricey for $9. The customer service is very disappointing. From the moment I placed my order at the counter to getting my drink, I cannot feel any dedication or friendliness from the staff. They are like being forced to be there to serve customers. Asking few short questions to get the order, not bothering to call out the order number for the second time when the sound of their machine is over their voice. I and another customer waiting there were so confusing, we had to come over to check by ourselves. Yes the shop looks very fancy, well-decor and much more spacious to sit in compared with other milk tea shops in the mall which offer only take away. However, with such quality and customer service, I will not comeback.

As a passionate tea drinker, I've been to MANY tea places in Brisbane. If I were to rank this little tea place, I would rank it #1 in all of Brisbane - that's how good it is! First of all, the tea is absolutely authentic, there is no weird aftertaste or the taste of chemicals. It isn't saturated with sugar as well like most cheap places that use a lot of syrup. Their menu, although smaller than most places, still caters to most people. Secondly, look at the place 😍 no dodgy marketing, just simply beautiful. It gets a lot of attention from possibly every passerby and stands out from most tea places, too. Why shouldn't it from that unique layout? Lastly, the staff are so friendly and amazing. If you're a regular, they remember your order and really cater to you. Love coming in to this place.

Queued for a long time to only realise it was cash only at the counter. Luckily I had enough loose change in my bag. Said my order and even double checked it with the cashier who nodded and repeated it back to me. Didn’t check my receipt as I had verbally confirmed the order. Then waited 20mins to collect my drink and realised it was wrong after my first sip. Politely advised the staff and who then responded to me, in a very rude tone, with “you should have checked the receipt.” When I asked if they could give me a refund as they didn’t have the toppings I wanted anymore and as I didn’t want to wait any longer for one drink, I was told “you already drank it so we can’t refund you.” Was lost for words at this point... I tried to explain that I did double check my order with the cashier and that I shouldn’t need to check my receipt again. The employees didn’t care and very coldly said to me “so what do you want?” Had no choice but to leave with a drink I...
