Coffee Mentality Roastery - Woolloongabba — Restaurant in Brisbane City

We are not from Brisbane but often travel there for business and coffee shops are a dime a dozen but after sampling many meagre cups I was almost ready to give up when I was fortunate to discover Coffee Mentality. These days I actually look for excuses to goto Brisbane to have a coffee (or two) and there is only one place I would visit now. Whilst I realise that there is a massive team effort going on behind the scenes I am just blown away by the skills & passion that Matt has towards his role (profession/art/magic) & each and everytime I visit he provides us with coffee perfection. I rarely comment online because I’m not socially interactive but I feel compelled to tell people about these guys. If you are like me & really into coffee, make sure you check this place out, you won’t be disappointed. If you are not into coffee, go check this place out & the Barista will change your outlook. The only problem I can see with Coffee Mentality is that it’s about 2 hours from my place & now I need to find more excuses to trek down there. My wife booked a "Tasting Flight by IAN" as a birthday outing. It wasn't on a Wednesday, but been my birthday, Ian and the team was more than accommodating to do a special tasting on the Tuesday.

From the start to finish we all were captivated by the energy and passion Ian has for coffee. He is very willing to share stories about his journey, what he has learned and what he is doing in the whole of the coffee industry and supply chain.
