It's a shamed that the rating here can only be given 5 stars. It is no exaggeration, this Italian restaurant will be the highest rating I have ever given in my life, 10/10. Yesterday, a best friend took me to celebratedly my birthday. This store made me feel full appropriate care and surprised. Their staff were very professional in recommending about wines, allowing me to feel happiness brought by the ingredients and enjoy the food of fresh and rich impact on my taste buds. The chef recommendation of the day is also very special (I'm strongly recommended restaurant to add it meal to the menu^^) The desserts after the meal were not disappointing, even the coffee and the density of the milk foam made me praise it. (A cup of good coffee really doesn’t require latte art to show the care of a restaurant). And the side almond cookies, I love so much) For that little cookie, I've two latte in a row. (lol lol lol) In the second cup, I got a little bit more cookies. (It's my lucky day) By the way, the price of the coffee after checkout will never disappoint you, which surprised me. (Happy) I keep telling my friends: "What's wrong with other coffee shops" lol lol lol.... The space of the restaurant is not large, but the distance between tables is good. This distance is a comfortable distance that you won’t feel even if the person at the next table changes or want to leave after finishing the meal. Even at a moderate conversation volume, you won't hear the conversation at the next table. It feels like everything is designed. Of course, a restaurant should not only pay attention to the selection of ingredients/cooking/matching of sauces and the amount of portions. What's more important is the restaurant's service attitude and how attentive it is to its customers. Even, what is extremely rare is that it is a restaurant that pairs alcohol with soft drinks and coffee ( Point is "the wine list is very long" ), which tests the ability of a restaurant's sommelier/bartender. I rarely give restaurant reviews, and most of them I don't think are really as good as the reviews on the Internet. Of course, I don’t think it’s a bad then I no given. Mainly, online reviews are generally very subjective. But, If there is a store with more than 200 reviews and all are 5-star reviews, then this store is really worth a try. For me, a score of 4.9 is equivalent to a score of 5. Not perfect is the ultimate perfection (because nothing is perfect) If you haven't been here yet or are looking for a new restaurant to try, this restaurant is really worth to try. You will never regret it. What you will regret is why you didn’t come earlier. I'm thinking hard right now, will my food be tasteless in the after day. (laughing)

I would like to thank d.vino for accepting a late minute booking and allowing me to dine solo 🥰 If you haven't visited this boutique little restaurant, I would suggest you try! Beautiful atmosphere and comfortable. The service from Danilo & Pia was amazing and on point even on a busy night! Warm and friendly but not over the top or pushy. The wine suggestions from Danilo are simply amazing. You can see his passion and knowledge when he explains a wine to you. Was recommended an amazing Chablis Grand Cru that matched perfectly with my meal selections of Charcoal grilled Octopus, green pea foam and stracciatella, and the amazing sous vide pork cutlet with celeriac cream, Gorgonzola and apple! Simply to die for couldn't help but picking up the bone for a little chew!!!!! Had to have a little nibble on some cheese, but dessert oh my amazing who knew chestnut could be done so good in a dessert! This amazing dessert of chestnut mousse with caramel and spiced crumble, not overly sweet and very well balanced, a perfect way to end the meal plus an amazing limoncello to round out the meal. This is a perfect place for a date night or even just an excuse to treat yourself or a loved one to an amazing Italian dinner. Would recommended a visit anytime. Can't want to go back!

Last weekend, my husband and I spontaneously decided to treat ourselves to dinner, and it turned out to be an absolute delight! I'd been eyeing D.Vino Bistro for a while now, thanks to their mouthwatering Instagram posts!

Nestled discreetly on the corner of Jurgens Street in Woolloongabba, D.Vino is a captivating culinary haven that gracefully accommodates only 35 guests at a time. The result is an enchanting, intimate ambiance that transports you to a quaint European wine bar or restaurant. We were almost convinced we had stepped overseas!

At D.Vino, a team of genuine wine aficionados takes center stage. The sommeliers, with their exceptional knowledge, serve as your trusted guides on a journey to discover the perfect wine to complement your meal. We absolutely loved our 2018 Vermentino from Campo Alle Comete.

D.Vino's menu is designed for sharing, featuring both tapas-style options and à la carte dishes, with a special focus on seafood dishes (which I love) with delightful Italian and French influences. To kick off our meal, we savored some fresh Italian bread, followed by Pan-seared scallops with pumpkin velouté and crispy prosciutto, and the delectable Cozze Alla Ligure – sautéed black mussels in white wine, cherry tomatoes, Napoli sauce, chili, black olives, and garlic oil. Absolutely scrumptious!

Our main courses were equally impressive – I love risotto and really enjoyed the Risotto Al Tre Verdi. My husband loved his Pesce Del Giorno. It went beautifully with our grilled vegetables.

The staff at D.Vino were a true highlight of our dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, they greeted us warmly and accommodated us graciously, even though we hadn't made a reservation. They were also very mindful of intolerances and allergies which i appreciated. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu and wine offerings. D.Vino is undoubtedly a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional...

My wife booked a table at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and informed them about the occasion. Unfortunately, our experience was far from celebratory. The food was overpriced and with low quality. The ravioli was drenched in cheese, and the risotto was just average.

When it was time for dessert, they brought out a dish with a candle for my wife instead of me, despite knowing it was my birthday. When we pointed out the mistake, they simply apologized and did not bother to switch the dishes or the candle.

To make matters worse, when the bill came, the waitress placed the EFTPOS machine in front of me while my wife was in the bathroom, putting me in an awkward position since my wife intended to pay. I ended up paying the bill, which made my wife very upset and uncomfortable when she returned. I was expecting just a little bit of attention to the customer.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Update: After posting my review, I received a response from the restaurant that was defensive and dismissive of my concerns. I will be sending a detailed email to address these issues directly with the management. However, based on my experience and the restaurant's response, I stand by my initial feedback and do not recommend this establishment. Key points from the response:

. The explanation of ingredient costs does not address the quality issue I mentioned. . The handling of the payment situation lacks empathy and professionalism. In addition, I do not recall asking for the bill. . The overall tone of the response is confrontational rather than...
