To keep this review short. I walked in looking for coffee and a little bite. - I was presented with incredibly friendly, yet not overwhelming, customer service from the couple who ran the store. - A wide range of milks (even macademi and coconut) and syrups (including gingerbread and jaffa). Which went well with what is truely great Coffee. And there's no other way to describe it besides that this level of quality from a little coffee shop is where Australia's international reputation for good coffee comes from. - I ordered the almond croissant and was surprised by the most care and love I've ever seen put into a pastries' presentation. The husband took the croissant out to the back. He then warmed it, chopped it in perfectly-sized pieces and dusted icing sugar on top. In addition, I mentioned that I was out of town and the couple recommended the various sights and locations around town for me to have a look at.

Edith Street Espresso is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed with warmth, laughter, and the kind of energy that instantly brightens your day. Owners Rene and Anthony are a quirky, bubbly duo who make the cafĂ© feel more like a friend’s living room than just a coffee stop. Their personalities shine through in everything, from the friendly banter at the counter to the little touches that make the space so inviting. And the coffee? Absolutely excellent, smooth, rich, and consistently top notch. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do, and it shows in every cup. Pair that with their genuine service and feel good vibes, and you’ve got a cafĂ© that keeps you coming back for more. If you’re looking for a place with great coffee, fantastic service, and a whole lot of heart, Edith Street Espresso is the spot. Highly recommend

I agree with so many of the other reviews. I walked in with no expectations to get exceptional coffee....well boom I got a great flat white. I was asked if I wanted a double shot too. The two young guys who served me were so friendly and really helpful. It's a very pleasant interior, I wish I could have sat down and enjoyed it. I also grabbed an almond croissant to go, which they asked if I wanted heated up and cut up. Just a really nice place, the good vibes ooze out the door. Definitely worth a visit if you're a bit of a coffee snob too 👍

I'm a regular at this wonderful little cafe and can't praise it enough, and not just because of it's fabulous coffee and great range of sweet and savoury treats, all served with care and attention to detail. It's an extra special place because Renee and Anthony have made it their mission to make every customer feel welcome and they really do. Just sit a while and listen as the many customers who pop in and out are greeted by name and enjoy a quick but genuinely friendly chat. How many cafe owners do that?! Edith Street Espresso is a gem of a cafe and a real asset to the Wynnum...
