My experience at Hanjan Korean Restaurant was nothing short of a disaster. First and foremost, the menu is completely lacking in essential information. For anyone with food allergies, this place is a nightmare waiting to happen. There’s absolutely no disclosure of ingredients on the menu, which is a serious oversight. It's shocking that a restaurant in this day and age doesn't consider the health and safety of its customers by clearly stating what's in the dishes. Moreover, there's no indication of spiciness levels, which is essential for people who might have low tolerance to spicy foods. I had to second-guess every order, and it ruined the experience.
To make matters worse, the food itself was terrible. The dishes were blatantly made with synthetic meats and other low-quality, artificial ingredients. I couldn't believe how fake and processed everything tasted – it felt like I was eating something straight out of a lab rather than a kitchen. For the exorbitant prices they charge, I expected authentic and high-quality Korean cuisine. Instead, I got a meal that was borderline inedible and certainly not worth the money.
The lack of variety was another major letdown. They didn’t have basic options like beef or pork, which is astonishing for a Korean restaurant. To top it off, there were no set meals available for dinner, leaving us to cobble together an overpriced and underwhelming meal from a limited selection. It’s clear that Hanjan has no regard for providing a satisfactory dining experience.
Overall, Hanjan is overpriced, underwhelming, and potentially dangerous for anyone with dietary restrictions. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to stay away unless significant...

We came here for a late dinner, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The fact that they're open until 1:30 AM is a lifesaver for night owls like us!
We ordered three dishes, and each one was a standout:
• The Raw Beef (Yukhoe): This was phenomenal. The beef was unbelievably fresh, tender, and seasoned perfectly. It was served with a beautiful egg yolk on top, and mixing it all together created the most delicious, savory flavor. A must-try for anyone who appreciates high-quality ingredients.
• The Spicy Rice Cake (Tteokbokki): This is classic Korean comfort food executed flawlessly. The rice cakes were wonderfully chewy, and the sauce had the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and savory. It was so addictive!
• The Pork Kimchi Stew (Kimchi Jjigae): This was the highlight of the meal—so hearty and flavorful. The stew was piping hot, rich, and deeply satisfying. The kimchi had a great tang, and the generous pieces of pork made it incredibly comforting. It was the perfect dish to warm us up.
The service was fast and very friendly, especially for a late hour. The atmosphere was lively and authentic, making for a truly enjoyable meal.

Read moreI was very excited to try this Korean food place as it came with many high rated reviews however was extremely disappointed with my experience. We ordered the spicy seafood noodles, garlic fried chicken and kimchi fried rice which costed a bit more on the pricy side however the price was not the main issue. The fried chicken was undercooked especially the large pieces which were borderline raw. I refrained from eating anymore after biting a piece that was completely raw and my partner who ate most of it felt sick after with food poisoning. The spicy seafood noodles had a good flavour , however lacked a bit in the amount of seafood compared to other Korean restaurants I’ve tried the same dish. Some pieces of squid in the noodles were also undercooked and chewy which was also unpleasant. The kimchi fried rice was also average and I have tried better at other places. Overall very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning. Would only recommend to those who enjoy possibly getting...
